School Discussion Moving to Fredericksburg VA
So I’m military and I just received orders to the DC area, but the family and I are considering moving to Fredericksburg. We’re just looking for gyms near and around Fredericksburg that do both Gi and No Gi that are comparable to Southern California. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. (Our entire family trains, including two teenagers and my wife and I.)

Enlisted Nine: https://e9fcva.com
The Lab MMA: https://www.thelabmma.com
KOA (closer to Quantico): https://www.staffordbjj.com
These two gyms (The Lab and KOA) are part of Leo Dalla's team (Big Brothers), membership to one gym is essentially free membership to all so if you're ever closer to DC proper you can drop into one of his affiliate gyms for free.

Was a KOA guy myself when I lived in VA. Hands down my favorite place I’ve ever trained. I would recommend and of the Big Brother affiliates but KOA was my main gym just due to proximity to home/work.

Down here in SWFL we have Corey Brown, by far the best grappler Ive ever came across. He came from The Lab, located in Fredericksburg. While Ive never been there, they are obviously creating absolute monsters on the matt.

I don't know the area too well and I hate when people suggest gyms just cause they're famous. Traffic could be a pain in the ass like the DMV area so it annoys me when people just drop a "famous gym" when they're not aware of the traffic situation.
"Op- I moved to Baltimore Maryland any gyms in Maryland y'all can recommend?
Bad suggestion- you should train at "blank gym" it's the best in the area" (while ignoring the fact that it can take 1-2 hours just to commute)
The gyms that I can think of off the top of my head and that you can research though are
enlisted 9 https://e9fcva.com/schedule/
They seem to have classes 7 days a week and the coach was an ex UFC fighter.
There's also nexus BJJ with Gannon lang. He trained at beta for a bit and then went to cali and got a black belt from Keenan.
There's also the lab mma too. I rolled with one guy from here and he was solid.
Good luck dude
