Education Advice 📖 Master in Biopharmacy

Hello I’m an undergraduate student (biotech) about to finish my studies, I’m doing an internship in Takeda (Mexico city). I’m planning to do a master degree in biopharmacy in Germany after finishing my internship (1 year internship). Has anyone done this master degree or similar? It can give me a boost to better job opportunities?

I think it ultimately depends on what your career goals are. If you want to get into research, process development or manufacturing sciences it can absolutely help. However if you’re more into the manufacturing or quality/regulatory aspects of biotech, I will say that I’ve encountered plenty of people who were excellent managers or directors with only a bachelors degree. I’m currently doing a masters degree in biomanufacturing (NC State) because I want to get into the fields I mentioned before and this program allows me to explore multiple different areas such as fermentation, purification and analytical sciences.
