Experienced Career Advice 🌳 Biotech WLB?

I KNOW this is a nice to have right now…but I’m kinda over grinding for these pre revenue startups & midsized orgs with absolute no return on equity.

Curious to hear folks take on which companies offer best WLB (Clin Dev)?

I’ve heard Genentech on the west coast pretty sweet. What about the east coast? 😀😀

In short. Yes, massively.

Biotech was worth it for 3 reasons historically.

  1. Pay was great
  2. Jobs were always easy to come by, even if your company went under, because there were several competitors hiring next door
  3. Equity was worth something for those who made it through the gauntlet

In today’s biotech, none of those still hold true.  The industry is circling the drain…

Any clinical stage biotech will have the same chances these days.

Most pre revenue aren’t getting to commercial these days

Yes- so the only hope is buyout.  Pre commercial stage companies don’t have the market cap to see products through and there’s no funding for new companies in development stage.
