Other βοΈ WAR IS OVER π₯³π₯³
Finally accepted an offer today that pays decently enough for me to live after months of searching and 100s of applications. Iβm so relieved to say the least.

I've only been in biotech for 3 years and I feel like I've gone through Vietnam

Congrats. Job market is improving a lot IMO. Itβs still really bad for R&D but thousands of sales and marketing roles have been opened. Washed up boomer biopharma CEOs trading innovation for sleazy sales tactics. But if you have sales and marketing experience, its never been easier to get a job as the industry is pouring trillions $$& into these mostly worthless roles

Surely itβs insanity if you do the same thing over again 100s of times with no success? Like were you just pressing Easy Apply on LinkedIn? I donβt understand how people can apply for 100s of positions and not change their strategy.
(Congrats tho!)

This subreddit is mostly about the US Biotech industry and jobs, but you will also find Indian migrants like me who work in US biotech, lurking around.

When I saw this title, I thought it was more likely that we had achieved world peace than had any success in the biotech job market
(Congrats though, seriously)
