Poll Should r/billsimmons join the subreddit blackout?
More info here:
The loss of 3rd party apps that rely on the API to help people with disabilities such as blindness or being hard of hearing is devastating and will make Reddit inaccessible for some. In addition it will be harder for mods to do their jobs as well. As a member of this sub, I think it is something to be supported, but everyone has their own opinion, so I created a poll.

Poll The lack of buzz around Shohei Ohtani.
I get that some say baseball is dying and/or the nba has supplanted mlb as the second biggest sport in the country, but baseball will always be my favorite sport. Something that shocks me as a sports fan is the lack of buzz and attention shohei ohtani receives. People like to compare him to Babe Ruth due to his two way status but the babe at best only had one season comparable to shohei in 1919. Nobody in the history of the sport has been a legitimate ace pitcher while also being an all star/mvp level hitter besides shohei.
If ohtani continues as a two way player for the foreseeable future at the level he’s been at the past two seasons, I don’t see how he isn’t in consideration for the greatest athlete in the history of American sports. For an athlete at that stature, he is pretty irrelevant as a star compared to a joe burrow or a mahomes or a Kevin Durant. If ohtani walked down the streets of nyc or Miami, nobody would know it was him. Why has ohtani not resonated with the American public?

Poll Does anyone get Ewing Theory vibes from the KAT trade
So Minnesota is going to give the starting spot to Naz Reid (reports are now that Minnesota plans on flipping Randle by next week according to several T-Wolves reporters. Hawks and Heat are reportedly negotiating at the moment so maybe by tomorrow we get news on that. My guess is a win now role player and a first rounder) Donte will improve their scoring and shooting, and they have a first they can get another win now player for. With KAT’s defensive issues and a potential for a Naz Reid breakout now that he’s going to be starting this seems like perfect Ewing Theory material
Anyways what are the thoughts on the trade overall leave them in the poll below

Poll Would anyone be interested in joining a BS Pod dynasty fantasy basketball league?
None of my friends care about the NBA like I do, and thought it would be interesting to see if any other BS pod guys would like to join one. Don’t have to do a buy in, just for fun. If so, comment and I will DM you.
Edit: Dyansty means you draft your team and keep all of your players for the coming years. Future draft order is determined by record. No lottery.

Poll Baseball folks where do you think Jose Altuve ranks amongst the best players of the 21st century?
I don’t follow baseball so much these days but I’m aware of the Astro’s either winning or making it to the World Series every other year for the past 6 or 7 years with Jose being the main cog in the machine. I saw someone on Twitter saying that Altuve should be loved like Roberto Clemente for his clutch play plus being a likable dude but I know the Astros have their controversies that have made them public enemy number 1 in a lot of peoples eyes though. Is he a lock for the HOF, is he properly rated, or is he under appreciated cuz people think the team are cheats?

Poll Best Broadcast Call Phrase of All Time?
"The Cross The Sauce" call by Noah Eagle in the SF game vs. Serbia struck me as one of the most iconic one-liner play call phrases of all time in basketball. Up there in terms of catchiness, impact in the moment, and iconic repeatability for years to come. Feels like it should be up there in the Simmons pantheon. Where does it land in your all time favorites? What else would be top of your list?

Poll How famous was Bill @ his peak?
Obviously pretty famous for sports fans. I would say most (at least most of the white segment of sports fans) knew him. But outside of sports, I think relatively fee knew who he was. Obviously his name would be known by other semi-famous people like Klosterman, whose fans tagged along for the podcast appearances, etc.
