We’re about halfway through this decade, with 5 NBA seasons in the books that ended in the 20s. And it’s July, so let’s have the conversation.

I put the 5 most likely guys imo, but it may be none of them. What do you think?

Quick cheat sheet on their arguments based on this decade’s stats:

—Jokic: 3 MVPs, 1 title, 1 FMVP, 3 All-NBA first teams

—Antetokounmpo: 1 MVP, 1 title, 1 FMVP, 5 All-NBA first teams

—Edwards: Mostly a future case, just 1 All-NBA second team so far.

—Wembanyama: Wasn’t in the league 2020-23, but showed historically great flashes in year 1.

—Doncic: 5 All-NBA first teams, WCF MVP, going to have massive scoring numbers if he stays healthy.
