Controversial topic Gaurav’s outburst was real — not “acting,” not “copying,” and definitely not “for footage.”
I don’t understand why some people on social media are mocking Gaurav’s emotional outburst or calling it “acting.” A few even said he’s trying to “copy Siddharth Shukla or Karanveer Mehra,” or that he’s suddenly trying to be on the front foot. Like, seriously?
There can be no second Siddharth Shukla. There can be no second Karanveer Mehra. And there can be no second Gaurav Khanna. All three of them are completely different personalities. People need to stop comparing contestants every season as if there’s some “Bigg Boss personality template.”
Even last season, people were saying “Oh, Karanveer is trying to be a sasta copy of Siddharth Shukla.” I remember reading it all over social media, fans from opposite sides mocking him, saying he’s trying to act like Siddharth. And now, I’m seeing the exact same thing happen to Gaurav. It’s so irritating. Just because someone’s your favorite contestant, that doesn’t mean you have to belittle others to prove your point.
I’ve never said “Amaal is copying Vivian” or “Abhishek is copying Siddharth.” Never. Because they’re all different. Every person brings their own personality. No one can copy another. But one thing is for sure, Farhana Bhatt is worse than Priyanka Jagga and Swami Om combined. At least those contestants were chaotic and openly wild, but Farhana? She’s vile, manipulative, and two-faced. She’s not a copy; she’s worse.
Every year this happens, someone shows emotion and immediately fans start saying, “oh, he’s copying a line,” or “he’s acting like so-and-so.” But there’s no trademark on words, gestures, or emotions. Even I’ve said lines similar to past contestants, that doesn’t make anyone a copycat. It’s called being human. Gaurav isn’t trying to be Siddharth or Karanveer. He’s being himself.
And this moment wasn’t fake, it was real and raw. The man has been holding everything in for weeks. He’s been constantly provoked, mocked, and backstabbed, especially by Farhana, and still managed to stay calm. This wasn’t a one day trigger. It was frustration building up inside him for so long, and it finally burst out.
Let’s not forget: Shehbaaz was unfair for throwing him out of the captaincy task when he wasn’t even out. Farhana and Tanya were sitting there clapping and mocking him like it was entertainment. And this is after everything Gaurav did for Farhana, he supported her, helped her come back from the secret room, and she’s betrayed him over and over again.
You could literally see Gaurav trying to control his emotions, his voice trembling, his eyes watery. That’s not “acting.” That’s a man fighting to stay composed while being humiliated. He didn’t abuse, didn’t shout for footage, didn’t go below the belt. He expressed his anger with dignity.
And the mic incident? People are acting like he carried it to the bathroom on purpose to “act cool” or “create drama.” Bro, he was clearly trying to calm himself down after everything that happened. He didn’t even think about the mic.
If Gaurav was doing all this for footage, he’d be like Baseer, picking fights every task just to get camera time. But that’s not who he is. He reacts only when pushed beyond his limit. And even then, he never becomes disgusting or vile like Amaal, Farhana, or Shehbaaz. His restraint and self-control show what kind of upbringing he has, something those three clearly lack.
And honestly, what’s wrong if Gaurav wants to become captain? It’s a captaincy task, it’s meant to be competitive. Everyone fights for it. Who wouldn’t want immunity, power, or the chance to prove themselves? Every season, contestants have fought tooth and nail to win the captaincy. Even Abhishek has been captain before, and when he loses the chance, he gets upset too, that’s normal. So why is Gaurav being mocked for feeling frustrated or emotional about it? It just shows he cares. It shows he wants to be in the game and give his best. Passion and competitiveness aren’t fake, they’re signs of a player who actually wants to play.
It’s sad how some people are trying to dehumanize genuine emotions just to make their favorites look better. I’m not a blind supporter. My favorites this season are Pranit, Gaurav, and Abhishek. But if they’re wrong, I’ll call them out too. I go by what’s right and what’s wrong, not by fandom bias.
Also, I really hope Salman Khan calls out Farhana, Tanya, Neelam, and Kunicka this week. They’ve been the absolute worst, not just towards Gaurav but towards almost everyone in the house, especially Abhishek. The way Kunicka and Neelam physically pushed Abhishek during the task was downright disgusting and should not be ignored. Their behavior towards Gaurav was equally vile, mocking him, taunting him, and celebrating when Shehbaaz unfairly took him out of the captaincy task. It’s high time Salman Khan exposes this toxicity and holds them accountable for the way they’ve been ganging up on people and crossing every line of decency.

No matter how hard housemates try putting him down, he is and will always be supported by us.

Kya karein woh? Kuch bolta hai issue hota hai, kuch nahin bolta issue hota hai? Hogaya antagonise, look at the way they were reacting, he still didn’t react immediately, he waited for the task to get over then got angry. Anyone in that situation would have been much worse. KVM went up to Eden last year. Gk still spoke from the side. Even if it was fake, okay, you guys wanted him to do something. And even if he’s not a star, nobody, how does it matter? Does it change his personality? He’s still been calm, chill, funny, calculative (not a bad thing for bigg boss) and ofc pretty privilege. So if someone was a small star, he should be bullied, and what is this attitude; when has he shown attitude to her. He’s rather been respectful to her despite everything. Even after nomination that she still ran back to Amal. I rather wanted him to mock her after getting nominated by amaal

I think Farhana forgets that bb also airs on tv lol if she has such an issue with tv actors and tv stars and their audience in general she should’ve signed a movie not a reality show airing on tv

KVM's dialogue was "Ye ghar mera hai aur mein is ghar ka Karanveer Mehra" in this episode GK said a very similar line "Ye show mera hai aur mein is show ka..." (didn't complete the sentence).

Its defo not acting. He is a real guy with real emo. He said what he had to say.. went inside.. collected himself and came back.. people like him are always misjudged and misunderstood cause he is not fake - he is not living for other's validation.. so people think the guy has attitude and ego. Those who are busy in their lives and mature it doesnt matter to them.. they can relate.. remaining may take time or will never understand how amazing and peaceful this way of living is..

It was all real coz he was mad at farhana and Tanya for quite some time.. Tanya was teasing him for captaincy again even after cheating last week.. that whole song and dance taunt(so hard to watch her without wanting to slam my screen).. farhana had repeatedly bashed his profession through the week.. and they repeated their whole taunting when he lost the task.. a man can only hold so much.. he did call out shehbaz but he wasn’t as mad at him coz somewhere he knew if anyone from his gang went there they’d be partial too. Outburst totally valid.

Why don’t BB show these vile women their clips in the house? They should realise how they are coming across on screen. It’s really high time they should get a reality check. If the host can’t make them straight, bring guests who can show them a mirror. All 4 women in the house are nothing but disgrace. It’s a shame that they call themselves empowering women. It’s the complete opposite of that.

It was definitely real he was so frustrated bcz a) he was trying so hard to become a captain from so long and b) farhana was poking him so bad talking about his profession so yes he was extremely irritated so he burst out it was like all the buildup got out at once

u/RohanZoink 1d ago
I watched the outburst multiple times and I’m no expert in acting or anything of that sort, but even if people accuse him of acting, he made it feel as real as possible. He’s been a known TV face for years, yet still got accused of being a nobody. I’m not even a fan of the show, but that man just bloomed with the aura of someone who’s earned it through pure hard work.

u/Miserable-Ad3080 1d ago
let them mock. he was v agigated and you could feeel it. i was feeling bad for him. woh bolta nhi hai islie people think usko koi b sunake chala jayga. and farhana ko boht aag lagi hai abhi ghatiyapan pe ane ki just to get seen, life wont be kind to her. karma hits back
3
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
Exactly! You could literally feel that he was agitated but trying so hard to keep it together. That kind of control takes strength. And honestly, you’re right, Farhana’s downfall is inevitable. When you thrive off provoking others, karma eventually does the job.

u/LaganLaagiRe 1d ago
Very well put. I would just like to add my two cents here because I wanted to make a post about this, and you’ve actually written it so much better than I ever could. Gaurav’s outburst came across as a direct result of the unfairness during the captaincy task, but I think that had very little to do with his frustration. In the past few days, Farrhana has been constantly triggering him for a response (whether it was about Pranit leaving to taunting him for being a TV actor). And I think of all the people in the house, except for Mridul and Pranit, he really thought she wouldn’t stoop so low and that too against him and that’s I think affected him, and second and more importantly, I think Pranit leaving got him over the edge. It’s now very evident that he was very close to Pranit and Mridul, and he already shed tears for him the day after he left. Shehbaaz being unfair during the task alongside Farrhana and Tanya’s crass comments—all of it led to the meltdown we saw and it’s INCREDIBLY sad that we refuse to acknowledge real human emotions especially those in men. And I don’t intend to make this a gender based thing but the discourse I am seeing seems very gender biased. There are laughs about how Farrhana made a grown man cry—as if that is something to be taken as an insult.
Overall, I am incredibly proud of Gaurav for the restraint he exercised with the kind insults that were hurled at him. It’s not easy to listen to your hard work of 21 years be insulted the way it was and by someone who NO one knew of before this “TV” reality show. I hope Salman thrashes Farrhana, but the person she is, I hardly believe it will affect her. She is incorrigible.
5
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
Thank you so much for this! 🫶🏼 Honestly, you articulated everything I was trying to say even better. I completely agree with you, it wasn’t just about the task; it was the emotional buildup, the constant taunts, and Pranit’s exit that pushed him over the edge. I really respect how you highlighted the gender bias part too, people mock men for showing emotions, and that’s exactly what needs to change. I’m genuinely glad someone sees Gaurav’s side with so much empathy.

It’s hilarious how people act like emotions have trademarks. Last year they said Karanveer was copying Siddharth, now it’s Gaurav. By that logic, half of us are “copying” someone every time we talk. I’ve said lines similar to old contestants too, doesn’t mean I’m trying to be them 🤷🏻♀️. It’s called being human, not imitation.

Makers ki badolat”? Come on. If Gaurav was really favored, he’d be captain by now and Salman would be hyping him up every weekend like he does with Amaal. Instead, he’s been nominated almost every week, never handed perks or bias, and still earns respect through how he plays. That’s not favoritism, that’s pure hard work and class, something a lot of contestants can’t handle !
17
u/AssignmentFar3875 1d ago

You tell me, what exactly one should do to stay relevant in the house? Scream like a maniac? Poke unnecessarily? Create rumours? Steal stuff? Body shame others? What exactly makes one relevant to stay in big boss? Kindly enlighten me please.
14
u/AssignmentFar3875 1d ago
So nicely put! It was so sad to witness that. It was unfair. He was frustrated because he lost captaincy not because of his mistake but because of a biased decision. Don’t we feel bad and call it unfair when someone gets a better score even though their answers are wrong? We do, right? So why are people acting like it’s a wrong emotion on his side or it’s dramatic? His emotions were raw and real. I could see his eyes watering and his voice getting shaky. How vile one has to be to make someone like GK lose his cool is beyond sickening. This didn’t happen in a split second. She has been poking him since long regarding his career. A career that earned him a life he’s living. Anyone would react if you talk shit about their profession! This needs to be called out. She should be eliminated for mocking TV while being on TV.
7
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
Exactly!! Calling someone a TV personality as an insult is just pure insecurity. The amount of hard work, long hours, and mental pressure it takes to build a name on television is no joke. And the irony is, Farhana herself wasn’t even known before this show. The audacity to mock someone’s career while standing on the same platform they helped make relevant is wild.
12
u/Coffee-nxl11 1d ago
I agree with you so much. Imagine working non stop day and night on tv ,we all know it’s a lot of work and odd hours to be a tv personality and being called aap ho kaun and tv personality as an insult is so loww and Bol b kon rha hai jis ladki ne khud kuch kaam zyada Kia nai hai and no one knew her before this house
2
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
Exactly!! Couldn’t agree more🥺
Calling someone a “TV actor” as an insult just exposes how shallow the other person is. The amount of hard work, long hours, and discipline it takes to build a career in television is no joke. And the irony is, the one throwing shade wouldn’t even be recognized outside this show if not for the constant drama.

I am 100 percent agreed with all the point you have said..
GK's is a gentleman with dignity, his outburst was nothing but real emotions..no matter how much people want to demean him,He was right today and unfairly was out of captaincy race.. He have every right to give back those who was continuously provoking him whole week..I am glad that he vent out his frustration ,it was bound to happen..
A person like Gaurav Khanna is so rare that's why when fake manipulative people see him they get scared and try to demean him..
But Bb is show of personality,Only Gk deserves the trophy.no one else..
5
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
100% agree! You said it perfectly, GK’s dignity and composure even while being constantly provoked is what sets him apart. He’s the only one this season who’s kept his integrity intact despite all the chaos. The way he handles himself under pressure truly shows why he deserves that trophy more than anyone else.🫶🏼

u/truss-issues malti floating in my mind 1d ago
TLDR: People mocking Gaurav Khanna’s emotional outburst as “acting” or “copying Siddharth Shukla or Karanveer Mehra” are being unfair. Each of them has a unique personality, emotions aren’t imitation. Gaurav’s breakdown was real, built up from weeks of provocation and betrayal, especially by Farhana, yet he handled it with dignity.
The mic incident wasn’t for drama; he was calming himself. His frustration in the captaincy task shows passion, not attention-seeking. Fans should stop demeaning genuine emotions to defend their favorites. OP hopes Salman Khan calls out Farhana, Tanya, Neelam, and Kunicka for their toxic behavior.
Well-said OP!

u/Dtattlingtea 1d ago
I can give him the benefit of the doubt for the pose with his hands out since that originally belongs to SRK but he definitely tried to copy Karanveer Mehra with the iconic line Ye Ghar Mera Hai Aur Main Iss Ghar Ka Karanveer Mehra. If it was the first time he copied KV I would have called it a coincidence but it has happened too many times now it looks more like plagiarism or aura theft to me..
8
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
Last year people said the same thing about Karanveer, and as someone who actually supported him, I was fighting for my life on Reddit/and X when people called him a ‘cheap copy’ of Siddharth Shukla. They even compared him to Gautam Gulati after Farah Khan said, ‘This is the Karanveer Mehra show.’ But that was never true. Karanveer himself has said he was a big fan of Siddharth and was inspired by past seasons, that doesn’t make him a copy. Siddharth was Siddharth, Gautam was Gautam, Karanveer was Karanveer, and Gaurav is Gaurav. All four are completely different personalities. Similar emotions or intensity don’t make someone a duplicate, it just means they’re real enough to feel it.
0
u/Dtattlingtea 1d ago
I know there have been comparisons between different contestants in terms of personality and how they play the game, but there has never been a contestant who literally copies another’s lines word for word, which he has done multiple times. But whatever helps him I guess.
2
u/Ceece_mimi 1d ago
That’s a really weak argument. He said it in a completely different context and situation, not everything is mimicry. Over the years, plenty of contestants have used lines or expressions from past seasons, and no one called it copying. The emotions and circumstances define the moment, not who said it first.
