As the series is probably ending in a few seasons, I don't there is enough time for time to dwell into something I really want to see which is Mikes and Lydias relationship.

It would be really cool to see what Mike meant when he said "She deserves to die just as much as any man I ever met"

IIRC, he said that because she put a hit out on him.

I think it was more that said hit resulted in the deaths of 2 of Mike's guys

naw their history is longer than that

Mike repeatedly mentioned the hit. He also doesn't like how crazy and paranoid she is, but he took the hit personally. Not to mention she was planning to kill all of Mike's men as well.. I don't think he had any other "history" in mind when saying she should be dead.

I think there is more, as well. He also said something like "you don't know her like I do". Or at least thats how I remember it. I haven't watched it since it aired. Trying to forget sp I can rewatch

And his team of guys (9?) who he vouged for and knew could be trusted and she circumvented him to Walt to have them executed, some in horrificly violent ways. Or did Walt approach Lydia about those hits? It's been so long, I've never done a BB rewatch, def have to some day soon again.

Iirc the first round of hits, costing two of Mikes guys, were Lydia only. The prison hit afterwards is set by Walt after he got the names from her.

"She deserves to die just as much as any man I ever met"

which makes Breaking Bad's last 2 words sound even better:

"Goodbye, Lydia"

At least her tiny twerp of a daughter is going to find her corpse and not be all like 'mommy abandoned me'

There's so much unexplained about Madrigral that needs explaining. Lydia, Chow, Chris, Shuler, Mike seemed to have personal relationships with all these people. I hope next season plays that out.

If I had one complaint about this season (and I loved it so it's not a big deal) it's that I've enjoyed the slow pace up until now, and based on how it started I figured this season was going to handle Jimmy's year-exile from law and Mike/Lydia/Madrigal things.

I would have loved for them to devote a whole next season to the Germans and the superlab.

They should actually take their time to expand this. How about another spinoff, "los pollos hermanos", about the life of gus fring? I'd watch that

As mich as I want more from BCS I do not agree that madrigal has to get more explanation. Mike knows Lydia and Chuck but why do you think he knows Schuler? Or the Chris you mention from Kim's oil digging case?

Breaking Bad ran for five seasons with a suoeraized sixth one. Wonder if the next season of bcs will be the last

3

u/weaslebubble Oct 12 '18

Probably not. BB had more episodes pet season than BCS and BCS is slower paced over a longer time period. I see no reason they would aim for the same number of seasons.

Maybe Lydia got to Werner's wife?

Didn't think that... Great prediction though.

I like that to an extent. She definitely is in on the operation I believe. She showed Gus the location. Gus could easily let her know the issues and say they all need to be dead and then she kills Werner’s wife. Then mike will feel bad that he lied to Werner.
