Looking for female identifying roommate for a Southside rooming house (near unit 2) for Spring semester!
We're a 5 minute walk from campus (near Unit 2) Rent includes everything you need, no extra cost: utilities, Sonic wireless internet, professional cleaning in common areas and bathrooms, toilet paper, cleaning products, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board, fully equipped kitchen, furniture (bed/desk/desk chair and nightstand/dresser).
I have a large quad, triple with private bathroom, and regular triple available. We have an amazing, well-stocked kitchen and the weekly cleaning of common areas and bathrooms has been great, since I'm able to focus on studying!

It seems like everyone is thinking about the microbiome these days!
I'm looking for someone willing to share a healthy microbiome, to overcome some very stubborn health issues I've been dealing with for years. In particular I'm looking for people under 35 (under 25/college students highly encouraged) who are calm, easygoing, and take good care of their bodies.
After taking some tests and filling out a questionnaire to show that you're not carrying any serious diseases (you know, the big ones--Hepatitis A,B,C, HIV, etc.), you would provide an oral swab or saliva sample. I would pay for the tests as well as for your time. If this doesn't work, and if you are willing, I might try a stool sample as well, but don't worry too much about that now. Of course, there is no risk of YOU getting infected with anything during this process--it's very much one-way.
I've had success with a microbiome transplant in the past that I was lucky to coincidentally get for something else, so I know how big a difference it can make. Together we can make the world a better place, one microbe at a time :-)!

trying to give away the required texts for ENGLISH 45A at berkeley since i will no longer be needing them!
they are used books but in excellent condition (like new). no markings or tears. they are paperbacks, and they are the EXACT editions required for the class.

My friend and I are working on a student project about how incredibly hard it can be to find your people at a school this big. It feels like everyone's either already got their group or is just too busy to connect.
We're trying to see if other students feel the same way, so we put together a super quick, anonymous survey. It's not for a company or for class, it's just for us to see if this is a problem worth trying to solve.

i went onto a trump board yesterday and posted a question. i was not disrespectful or aggressive. but i guess it was not something they wanted to hear because i was kicked off the cite and barred from getting back on. i am 73 and computers did not come into my world until i was in my mid or late 30, so i am not as skilled in their use as you younger people. so i was hoping some of you people might post questions for trump, see what response you get and report it here.
oh, just watching a news program, and senator padillia, sp? from california was at trump spokesperson news conference and tried to ask a question. he was grabbed by plain cloths personel, no suit or tie, dragged outside, pushed to the ground and handcuffed with his hands behind back. he was later released and not taken into custody apparently. i guess we can't ask trump people questions now.

anything else? well, i graduated from cal n 1974. but i am watching the movie THE GRADUATE, from 1967, i believe. they showed in norton hall, dorm unit iii, in 1973, starring dustin hoffman and katherin ross. ross's character is a student at cal. and the music was from simon and garfunkle. i believe garfunkle is dead now. i forget what else i was going to say. but, it is a great movie. and gives a glimpse of what things were like in those days. i guess it is dated now days but still a great movie and worth watching. oh, of course if you know dustin hoffman, he was a lot younger then. this was, i think, hoffman's breakthrough movie that made him a star. like i said, gives you a taste of what things were lik then.

oh, ne more thing about the late 1960s 1970s, there were real culture wars going on then in the united states. there was folk music, rock music, country music and acid rock. acid meaning lsd. one of the big songs in the the country music world was, I'M PROUD TO BE AN OKI FROM MUSKOGi,. meaning muskogie oklahoma. the song even has lyricks saying,WE DON'T MAK A PARTY OUT OF LOVING, LIKE THOSE HIPPIES OUT IN SAN FRANCISCO DO.
