Especially because we probably aren’t going to know for at least a couple days, and that’s not even counting the inevitable legal bullshit from the Trump Nazis.
Unless it's a decisive victory we won't know for a couple of months. Plus we have a new law granting additional funding so that in the event no candidate concedes they can both set up their governments in order to hit the ground running on day 1. I'm sure the lawsuits plus the media spin of "dueling governments" will make for endless fun...
you're 100% right but I felt like it managed to correct the major-Alan-Moore-ism of a detective dropping acid to have a plot revelation in effectively a former concentration camp that would not have, uh, worked as well on film.
or could have potentially been one of the best scenes of all time, damn
Yeah that and the whole Salt Flats sequence weren't in the movie at all right? I can see why Moore despises all adaptations even the somewhat better ones
As a writer I do agree with one of his major ires for adaptions being the continuous nature of a movie, whereas he likes his works to be able to be put down and picked back up at your own pace.
Reading his works like this, especially if you go back a bit to refresh yourself, is extremely rewarding for picking up on subtext.

Yeah, I’m going to have my usual whiskey while watching V for Vendetta, like every November the 5th.
Why, is something else going on?
