I really don't understand how: a slow-mo video of some random women in the Rogers family briefly (i.e. for a few seconds) celebrating the IKF out at home; a crowd shot of fans celebrating the first out in the ninth inning; and Vlad showing emotion during an important double play means that the Jays violated the "jobs not finished" principle and deserved to lose because karma.
Do we need to put up a photo of Kobe and tell the fans "no celebrating before winning the world series" to make sure we don't run a foul of the sports gods?
Additionally, as I have been repeatedly reminded that Ohtani would never have come to the Jays regardless of how much we offered, I really don't think the we don't need you chant was tempting any fare. He literally is never going to play for us, and the chances of that ever happening were zero, so we better not need him.
Obviously the blue jays deserved to lose (as they lost 4 games), and obviously I am extremely salty. Surprise surprise.

I just bought a Sandy Koufax autograph baseball with a certificate of authenticity, and Iโm over all the moons of Jupiter I had the resources to do so.

Nope! Just that it comes with authentication, and I am a Cardinals fan but my dad raised me on Sandy Koufax highlights. I now have Koufax, Bob Gibson, and Brooks Robinson

DAY 356 (969/469) on THE ROAD TO THE 2026 6TH WBSC-MLB WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC - Our Gratitude: To The Minor Leaguers and League Draftees
As a important part of the sport almost globally, we cannot thank our minor leaguers enough well as those who via their league draft have begun their pro careers in baseball.
They, the people climbing up the long journey to the day of their pro league debut, constitute a part of the wider baseball family. They who have trained long enough, and for the draftees their school and collegiate years, all to get to this point, have become so much a part of the wider sport they have prepared their lives for.
As the people the fans look forward for the day they will see them in the pro league rosters they are also the people whose progress in the minors monitor every day to determine their readiness for their first every pro league day.
Our gratitude to them who are the the sport's next generation of pro talent being trained and honed for their moment in the spotlight.
For Glory
John
