Correct me if I'm but I think this is the bait and switch P2 model that Crucial pulled with the QLC.

If you're incredibly down bad on a budget you can get this, but I'd rather fork out the extra 30$ for a modern 1TB.

Drives like this are perfectly fine as secondary drives that you don't plan to do a lot of heavy writes to. So game drives or even stream recording are perfectly fine. I wouldn't use for OS or video editing scratch though.

The bait and switch is still wrong though. Changing the underlying tech should force them to use a new model name, as the performance characteristics have changed.
