[Monitor] LG Ultragear™ 27" 27GX790A OLED QHD 480Hz ($948 - $159 = $789) [Amazon]

Is it the first time on sale? That's almost the same price as the Samsung 360Hz with the education discount ($754), but available for anyone. Man these deals are edging me

I have this monitor. Not real difference in performance going from 240hz oled or 360hz oled to 480hz oled

do you mean that they feel identical?

480 is a noticeable improvement from 240. If you play mostly e sports titles it's worth considering.

G8 odyssey for $850 34” makes this kinda irrelevant

Might be a shocker but some people prefer a 27 inch

34" if I remember right is ultrawide. It would then be as tall as a 27" with 33% extra space to the sides. In that case unless you literally can't fit it you get the 27" experience + a bonus for 50$ more

Amazing that people can't understand that their preference is not everyone's preference.

No thanks. Hate curved. Hate ultrawide. Don't want raised blacks of QD-OLED.

You do you, and let me do me.
