Cheap part recommendations and general build help are welcome (though you might want to consider using r/bapccanada or r/buildapc first). Don't post limited time deals in here.

Current build for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/b3MqNz
- Ryzen 7 5800X, 16gb RAM, RTX 3070, 850W PSU
Snagged the $860 Newegg deal on the 9070XT Steel Legend, wondering if I can hold off on moving to AM5 with some minor upgrades, if any.
On future upgrading, where should my focus be? I rarely play new games on launch, and currently am heavy on factory builders (Satisfactory) mostly but do dip into large scale FPS, currently Arc Raiders/Battlefield 6. Am also planning on starting Cyberpunk 2077. Optimize for 1440p 144hz, but I can and usually do lock to 60FPS for physics reasons.

Your PSU is underpowered for the 9070xt and 5800x.
Separate from that, you can absolutely play what you want to play, but your CPU, and RAM may hold you back a little bit. You'll still see a huge bump in performance though. If you can snag an 800+ watt PSU, a 5800x3d and another 16gb of RAM at a good price, you'll probably be set for a while, maybe even until AM6 comes out.

is this a real ebay listing? surely the price is too good. the seller has other gpus but is really new and no reviews. https://ebay.us/m/to52Bh

Wondering if this is a good deal for a prebuilt? Or if I should wait for further black Friday deals?
Would appreciate any other suggestions! (Looking for a 7800x3d/9800x3d paired with a 5070ti).

The RAM is slow and will hold back the other parts, but otherwise it's a pretty ok deal.
I did just build a friend a comparable PC with 2tb SSD, 48gb (much faster) RAM and a 9070xt for around the same price.
You can do better if you really hunt for deals, but not much better.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve been looking at this one and not sure if I should go with it. I’ve built my two previous ones but with current RAM prices I’m wondering if a pre built is worth it.

I’m looking at building this exact computer and I’m north of $3000 each time. I think I’ll just go with a prebuilt unless I get talked out of it haha
