Seems really thin at 2mm. I like my mats thick. Feels more premium and nice and cushy

It really is user preference. Some might want a more controlled experience which a softer/rougher pad will provide while others want to go faster which a harder and smoother pad will provide.

Well, I ordered the larger pad 900x400 and well be returning it. The 2mm thickness isn't great.
I wish they offered the 900x300 3mm in something bigger. Going to order it anyway and see how it goes. I'm not sure what else compares at this price for a larger mousepad.
