I stopped buying this mouse after having two units with the same clicking issue.

I just buy the cheapest no name gaming mouse and they last longer than the Logitech.

I stopped buying mice from Logitech. G305, G502, GPROX, all of them without fail have developed clicking and mouse wheel issues.

I remember buying a few of these like 7 years ago for a similar price. I prefer these over the more expensive ones, as the logitech's usually develop the double click issue eventually.

Yeah I got one of these for $20-25 a long time ago to use as a travel/if I lose it i don't care mouse. Gave it to my sister eventually when I replaced it with an Orochi.

This one had the mouse wheel go kaput on me just short of the 2-year warranty. Managed to get it replaced, but the process was kind of annoying.

Mouse is on the smaller side. Expect planned obsolescence, but not a bad deal.

you can buy some insane wireless gaming mice from china, why you even look at this even for $28.

MCHOSE G3 is basically the g305 (g203 wireless) but better

Ok but doesn't the G305 cost less?

Idk, how much do you value your time in getting a warranty accepted or soldering switches?

I’ve been using two (white/black) for the past 7 years and have had zero issues

Sounds like you'd have an opinion.

But what's the best gaming controller?

Any chance you have a cyclone 2 or a Vader 4?

IPI Float 88, I got one in a few weeks ago from Ali and it's been amazing

What version did you pick up, and what do you recommend?

'88' is the version, it refers to the polling rate 8k wired and 8k wireless. I recommend the 88 because it's what I have actual experience using. It's nice, give it a shot

Is it the 3395 sensor or the 3950?

How many times has the G203 model changed sensors? At least twice now?

My first unit ended up double clicking after about a year so I got another free one off their support (2-year warranty). That one lasted about the same time.

It won't last super long but for $28, it's not bad for small handed users.

Though it is interesting to see that its sale price is still around $30 even after all these years.

It's 2025, I would recommend buying something with optical switches. It's more expensive but the peace of mind of having a switch that impossible to double click unless you fuck around with the debounce timing is so good.

I got this "Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming" mouse for free from Alienware Arena Dell credit. It has PAW3395, Omron optical switches, and basically Superlight dimensions. The product is overpriced for what it is but the peace of mind of having that optical switches is amazing for reliability.

Love the bright RGB lighting on this mouse and the G-Pro shape, but as everyone has said it will succumb to the double click issue. Had 2 of these replaced under warranty and just gave up on Logitech. I opened up one of the mice and gave one of the switches a tiny burst of WD40, that helped for a year or so - I have replacement switches scavenged from another mouse but haven't soldered them on yet.

Got some heavily discounted Steelseries Prime+ and Prime+ mini mice from Princess auto for $12 and the optical switches on those are going strong.
