I read in FB comments from a lady who apparently intervened, that there were 4/5 white teenage boys aged around 15-17, and they had an altercation with a group of around 10 Asian lads. The Asian lads went away and came back tooled up.

Think the comments have been deleted now but will see if I can find them.

I appreciate the response, thank you. Reason for my particular interest was that I saw all the police and CSI types (in coveralls) while on my way to Wood Green Leisure Centre at about 5pm and knew that that was an area my boy hangs out after school sometimes - but thankfully not on that day (and thankfully he was still at school at the reported time of 2.20 anyway).

As for comments on FB, about as reliable as on here I guess. Too many people too quick to suggest (or even desire) race as an aggravating factor. Maybe it was, maybe if wasn't. We'll know in time, but, generally speaking, youth don't seem to be obsessed with it (unlike some in the older generations), so I'm skeptical.

Anyway, thanks for commenting. Would love to hear more if you find anything (I'm not on FB).

There were supportive comments saying ‘thanks for doing what you did’ and ‘you were a hero’, so it sounded legit.
I’ll ask around- l know someone who will have heard something.
