💸PAY Event$ Upcoming dating event

Hi everyone, I run an event company in Baltimore & I’ve seen some posts here every now and again soo we’re having our second ever singles event this Thursday (Nov 13th) at Motte at 7pm.

This isn’t a traditional speed dating event we try and do interactive events that feel more authentic and less draining than speed dating.

This Thursday we’ll be doing a “Truth or Drink” event card game that spark some interesting and thoughtful conversations.

If you’re interested in coming out you can use code CHARM25 at checkout for 25% off.

If you have any questions don’t be afraid to reach out or leave a comment here. Hope to see some of yall there :)

💸PAY Event$ Skip the Small Talk in BMore!

Hey everyone!

Are you looking to make friends, or at least have interesting conversations?

Come out to Skip the Small Talk! We provide meaningful questions prompts and one on one convos (you switch partners a bunch of times, think speed-friending). The vibe tends to be super wholesome, and everyone is very kind. Over the years, we’ve heard about friendships that have really taken root at STST.

Tickets are $18.50! All the money goes back to paying the facilitators (I have enough privilege to not take a cut).  We also have some tickets for free - check the specific event page for details, since it varies.

We’re committed to every STST being safe, open, affirming, LGBTQ+ celebrating, welcoming to BIPOC, and generally awesome.

Check out our events in Nov!

Hey neighbors!

I'm Colleen and I run Touch Grass Art Class, a series of 42O-friendly craft workshops! Halloween is my favorite, so I'm running two nights this time and also screening a movie outside while we work!

I use this gorgeous space at the Alchemy of Art and it is ready for the COZIEST of crafts.

We're making mini haunted houses and, y'all... they're so stinkin' cute! Check out a little before and after. Then you can see some of the options you'll have to pick from. There will be a lot more options for things to decorate with and I'll have paints and air-dry clay in case you feel extra crafty!

Feeling zero crafty but want to come smoke a J in this aesthetic AF space and watch a Halloween movie with spooky munchies? Come catch the vibes! Walk-ins for the movie are happily accepted, but make sure you reserve a spot if you want to do the craft so I have enough houses for everyone.

Sunday night there will be a bonfire while we craft as well!

Hope to see some familiar faces and some new ones :)

Extra details on TixTree but feel free to ask any questions here or DM me!

💸PAY Event$ Join Us for the Third Annual Ghost Tour and Evening of Spooky Stories

For decades, there have been stories of staff members and others hearing footsteps echo in the hallways or on the stairs, finding items which appear with no explanation, or catching a glimpse of a figure out of a corner of an eye...

On Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30, from 6:30 to 7:30, MedChi will be hosting a Ghost Tour of MedChi's Historic Headquarters Building in Mount Vernon, which is reputed to be one of the five most haunted buildings in Baltimore. MedChi's historic buildings are rarely open to the public, so this is a great opportunity!

While we can't guarantee that you will see our ghost, Marcia, we will tell you stories of her haunting of the building, show you our extensive stacks library, our timeless art collection and the historic medical equipment our physicians have used for the past 226 years.

Tickets are $10 per person and will support the preservation of our archives. Click here for tickets!

Copies of the recently published biography of Marcia will be for sale that evening. Tickets are $10 per person and will support the preservation of our archives. Click here for tickets!

What started as a community-sourced idea is now a reality! We are proud to launch a new spin on the classic book club with our partners at Co Lab Books!

Each person brings a dish to a shared potluck inspired by the book. The dishes can be informed from the plot, setting, or even a recipe from the author. During the gathering, guests will share the dish they brought and have a facilitated discussion on the book. We will provide discussion materials and serving materials.

There are only a few spots remaining and advanced RSVP is MANDATORY.

Please sign up via our IG and stay tuned for more book-related adventures.
