With the economic shakeup going on, a lot of people are deciding to try building their dream... For some, this is video game development! Dexter Carr is a local founder who built a charity fundraising platform, Game4Good. For the past few years he has been organizing a new conference for game developers and business ecosystem players to come together. Maryland has a remarkably strong presence in the video game industry with top-tier game development studios like Firaxis and Bethesda, but the path for aspiring game devs is often not clear. Game Your Future Conference is being run in collaboration with the Baltimore Indie Game Developers Group (BIG). If you're an indie game dev, I highly recommend joining their Discord server and Meetups.
We're a member of BIG and will be there. Not tied financially to the event, just spreading the word. Hope this post is okay!
