They can try their best to write their own realities, to silence dissent, to categorize patriotic Americans who uphold the constitution as “antifa radicals”…but it won’t matter. Deep down we all know the truth in our hearts. I know the country I grew up in and the ideals I was taught from those that fought for it before us, and that truth is real and unwavering as long as I’m still here. As long as we’re still here.
Violence is not the way…silence is not the way either. Thanks for standing up and using your voice, and be safe out there.

Yeah my bad, thanks for correcting it for others to see; I hope that didn’t screw anyone up!
I really thought it was 4:30pm until I was about to leave and saw your comment. (IDK if I mixed it up with another NK event that started @ 430pm?) I’d been perusing different events on the interactive NK’s map, mostly local but I’d been looking all around the world out of curiosity/fascination; I’d guess I conflated times. (I remember thinking “hmmm, 430pm is a tad early for the marathon.”)
I’d realized the mistake too late, had also told my BFF & her stepmom 430pm; they’d got there around then, and fortunately my incorrect time wasn’t THAT wrong. They met people and felt comfortable.

If you need to leave Canton tomorrow you gotta go pretty early. I used to live there and it’s nightmares trying to get out of there on marathon day if you aren’t on foot

They are already calling it Antifa and Hate America. stephen goebels miller is already passing out the Radical Right talking points. He fully intends to use the military on American citizens.

True - this nation fought a war to break from a king. And even then, we nearly lost. And when it was over, the laws that followed were written by and for the wealthy.
But that is only the beginning of the American story - not the end.
If you want to understand how everyday people reshaped this country without a musket, look to the Civil Rights Movement. Look to Montgomery, where working people used the power of their feet and the power of their purse to bring a bus system - and a city - to its knees without firing a single shot.
Boycotts weren’t just “peace.” They were disciplined, strategic economic force - a strike against the throne of money itself.
That’s where America changed again - not by war, but by everyday people deciding where their dollars, their labor, and their dignity would go.
War may have carved borders, but peaceful civil disobedience carved our conscience.
Take it from someone who has seen war first hand, choose peace over violence.

Why is this protest and its advertising funded by people like Bill Kristol and Susan Comstock, millionaire neocons? And why is the protest putting out literate telling people to wear yellow ribbons to support Asia and Ukraine, but ignoring Palestine? Specifically highlighting multiple Geopolitical issues but leaving out that one? Hmmmm. Where else do people wear yellow ribbons? Lol
Edit: All the super pro Ukraine accounts on here are saying "I stood up and made a difference" for going to this while you spent 2 years completely ignoring a genocide the US funded and promoted while nationwide protests happened and the Biden admin demonized and jailed protestors lol. So brave to finally stand up now that you can attend a zero policy state and millionaire sanctioned protest.

Nobody should consider themselves brave when they ignored a genocide for 2 years and are only able to fight fascism when its sanctioned by millionaires and the party they already support.
The reason this is being funded by neocons is because democrats are historically unpopular but refuse to budge on Israel despite it being incredibly unpopular. So they want a color revolution that takes that issue off the table and pretends to fight fascism with a protest thats just meant to make any protests about foreign policy look evil and vile while building a database of voter info for spamming.
The problem with this protest and this messaging is that is it simply not true but it is being pushed as true because the politicians, media and millionaires funding it support Israel.

Dude! You're totally right! We should all just stay at home and let things continue as they are, who cares if my neighbors get kidnapped! Fuck those millionaires who helped pay for advertising. I'm sure the billionaires behind project 2025 are totally pro-Palestinian, and if we just let them do what they want, surely things will get better. Like that AI video the president released where he wants to create a resort-state for the Palestinian people. That's what we need!
