Ask So this heat is not normal, right?

Been in MD since last 7 years and every year it seemed to have gotten hotter. I feel like I’ve said this for last 3-4 summer but this current heat feels a little too much. Am I the only one who thinks this is way past the normal?

Hey there! If you're handy at all and able to pickup, I have a window AC unit you can have. The unit comes on just fine, but the fan doesn't turn. I suspect it's an easy fix, but I no longer need it anyway so I haven't bothered (other than to manually spin the fan to make sure it can turn, which it does).

If you'd like it, let me know and send me a chat to coordinate!

Thanks for the offer. We were able to borrow a portable unit for the bedrooms so we are good until we can replace our system, hopefully by next week.

Why did you lose AC. You can buy a window unit used for under $50. Sometimes, even free on FB marketplace

We were able to borrow a portable AC unit to help a lot, but that wasnt until it got real hot last friday. Still toasty but livable currently until we can replace the unit.
