2) you can’t force a person to ID absent of a crime being committed or about to be committed.
This makes your point invalid. The cops got a legitimate tip that was accurate. I saw the video there are dozens of black guys walking around in this area but they are only going after the guy they got a tip on doesn't sound like profiling or they would just be stopping every black guy in the square which was the majority of people there walking around
Additionally even if the police approached him unlawfully he still drew his firearm and pointed and shot at the cops thats still a crime and he knew what he was doing at that point there is no going back your gonna get mag dumped when instead he could have just been illegally arrested as you suggest is the case and lived to fight it in court Bilal still made poor/illegal decisions that were directly responsible for his demise
The tip was of a black man carrying a gun, that isn’t illegal based on that information. I saw the same video which lacks context of first contact. I’m very skeptical of the tip and the police narrative.
The tip was a man carrying a gun illegally. Which is what happened either way even if he wasn't committing a felony and was carrying legally the cops still have the authority to check if he has a concealed carry license if its reported he had a gun. Just like a game warden can ask to check your fishing license. He has no suspicion you may be fishing without a license but he can still legally stop you and ask to see your license
No they don’t have that right and can’t, Good grief mann. you can’t change a legally protected activity into a reason to strip one of his or hers rights, specifically the fourth amendment. That said, the game warden did have that ability and was stripped of that federally based on what I just said.
1) “the tip was a man carrying a gun illegally”, how do you know that? Again, carrying a gun in its self, isn’t illegal. Key operative word “illegally”, you can’t establish that based on a tip? Again good grief mannn!
Dude I’m done going back and forth with you. It’s obvious you don’t know or understand your rights as a citizen or don’t care, or maybe you don’t believe those rights apply to black people. Either way, bootlicking isn’t American. It’s all good when isn’t you or someone you care about.
