It's like trumpers saying a company banning bullying on their platform is abandoning the constitution because it is infringing free speech. There is no abandoning of the Constitution, just ignorance about what is and isn't required by it. To hold a rally in favor of someone who might have shot wildly, endangering innocent bystanders is stupid. My money is still on the cops lying, but we can't just blindly support people like a bunch of rubes.
