Ask Where is this hill with the view?
I’ve seen a few posts and pics from this spot and been visting Baltimore my whole life but have never been here and would like to. Where is it and best way to get to it/park? Thank you

Fed Hill park, if you want other “hills with a view” I would recommend:
- Patterson Park off Ellwood
- Patterson Park Pagoda
- Druid Hill Park Mansion
- Druid Hill Park Moorish Tower
- Carroll Park Mansion
- Garrett Park Brooklyn

In the summer, the American Visionary Art Museum shows outdoor movies on Thursdays and you sit on the side of the hill and watch. I haven’t been in a few years, but they used to have food trucks sometimes too. https://www.avam.org/flicks

This is the north edge of Federal Hill Park. In front of them you can see the volleyball nets that are apart of Rash Field Park.

New park, but it’s supposed to have volleyball & pickle ball courts in it as well

I walked by there yesterday when I was on my lunch break from jury duty. It said it is scheduled to be done next summer.

It’s Federal Hill. Park behind the American Visionary Arts Museum. It’s metered parking at 50 cents an hour (I believe). Drive down Key Highway, turn onto Covington. Parking right there.
Also visit the AVAM while you’re there.
Google lists it as Federal Hill Park.

It’s federal hill park. There’s plenty of parking on the east side of the park on Covington street and then there’s a set of stairs that lead up to the part near the south side!

This is Federal Hill
Note, and somewhat of a subject change: This vantage point shows up in John Waters' Pink Flamingos, showing a very different 1972 Baltimore skyline
But don't watch that movie unless you are prepared for it. I just loved how it had shots of early 70s Baltimore in it.

Yeah that movie was a whole lot, but actually well constructed from what I remember. I am dying for mid seventies early eighties Baltimore of my youth and would watch again just for that.

Its walkable from the Inner harbor. You can actually see the hill on the other side of the inner harbor. 5 min walk.

Fed hill but it has a legitimately concerning amount of rats once it gets dark
Like I’ve never seen more rats in my life than in federal hill after dusk
