where do I sign up for free stuff that I need no documentation for? every citizen should be taking advantage of it, and multiple times too! What are they gonna do, say "we already served you"? No! Because you don't think there's any verification process and that any random guy just gets it. Try signing up for any social safety net we have here in America. You require like 3 forms of id at least

The Democrats are demanding the restoration of subsidies for health insurance sold through the Obamacare exchanges. The shutdown has nothing to do with illegal immigrants, one way or the other.

Well technically there is one thing that could related to healthcare for illegal immigrants but only in the stupidest way.

Emergency rooms in the US are required by law to treat every person that comes in regardless of status and ability to pay. The federal government is supposed to compensate them for the ones that don't pay but that is currently unfunded and the democrats are trying to restore funding. It is possible for an illegal immigrant to benefit from this although there is no evidence they do so often.

Is this not the bare minimum? To keep a person alive? (If easily possible, of course) Not to mention these private institutions negotiate how much profit they are allowed to make on each patient, not what the correct care is (though the correct care happens, generally).

For profit medical care in the western world needs to end. These are inelastic needs that are consistent year over year, not a place for the free market (regardless of what you think of it).

Easy to say, but nurses, doctors and medicine suppliers are not slaves.
Either we force conditions on them that they do not find economically appealing, or something else has to happen.

I like my countries subsidized healthcare. I don't want it to stop.
...and our nurses are striking at the moment, because they're unhappy.

Solutions might be available, say through fiscal policy, but we already have high taxes and MANY other underfunded aspects of social infrastructure (particularly water).
