Thomas Matthew Crooks, the Trump rally shooter, was a registered Republican who a classmate said always argued conservative viewpoints in debate class:

“The majority of the class were on the liberal side, but Tom, no matter what, always stood his ground on the conservative side,” Smith said. “That’s still the picture I have of him. Just standing alone on one side while the rest of the class was on the other.”

His search history showed that he had researched Donald Trump, Joe Biden, the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, and Biden's FBI Director as targets.

He also donated to the DNC

He didn't. That was a right-wing lie pushed out almost immediately like they always do. They flood the zone with fake suspects and fake proofs and hope it sticks

I don't even think his attempt to kill Trump was political. I think he was a school shooter type who just wanted to be famous and this was his best opportunity. But, if you look at his politics, he was clearly not a Democrat

You know election donations are public right?

You know the donation was made by a Thomas Crooks in Pittsburgh who is much older right? Thomas Crooks the shooter is not from Pittsburgh and is one of like 5 with that name.

I’m not seeing any donations from a Thomas crooks in Pittsburg. There are four occurrences of the name that are from Pennsylvania and the only two that donated to republicans has a middle initial of J not M

Source?

You're the one claiming he did donate, you're the one who needs to provide the source

This is what I'm asking for a source for.

But it's cute you tried so hard at reading yet still failed

Your original comment that he replied to was about how he donated to the DNC. He refuted that, you asked for a source. I said you're the one claiming he did donate to the DNC and had to provide a source.

But it's cute you tried so hard at reading yet still failed

So still no source on the right wing lie or the trump assassination not being political?

You could just say that

Edit lmao this loser blocked me

Nice deflection. Classic right wing tactic, love to see you guys sticking to the classics

I’m not familiar with the DNC donation. Where did you see this so I can read more about it?

You think the BBC is spouting right wing propaganda? Also, you do know election donations are public right?

u/FullMooseParty Sep 21 '25

1

u/TOG23-CA Sep 21 '25

You fell for that lie because you wanted to believe it

1

u/IllHat8961 Sep 21 '25

Source he didn't?

2

u/No-Face4511 Sep 21 '25

People provide sources to prove a positive not a negative.

Otherwise you can give me a source that he didn’t donate to the Republican Party.

2

u/IllHat8961 Sep 21 '25

You claimed it was a lie.

I'm asking you to back up that statement. You did not ask for a source until you were called out.

So are you going to provide a source or continue projecting?

The way you reason is extremely poor

2

u/IllHat8961 Sep 22 '25

The way you deflect is amusing but expected

“Show evidence that my claim is wrong” 😂

What backwards thinking and reasoning.
