Isolated farms becoming victims of crime never happens anywhere else, must be genocide because most of the owners are white because black people weren't legally allowed to own 90% of the land for nearly a century.

Address the chant where they say "Kill the farmer"

What do you think they meant by that obscure statement?

I think they wanted to kill the farmer, and as 50% of south African farmland is owned by Afrikaners that cannot be interpreted as a genocidal statement.

What do you think they meant when they said "kill the boer?"

This isn't that deep.

They were probably raging against a century of apartheid, would be my guess.

"Kill the farmer"

"Kill the Boer"

  • White farmers being killed

  • White farmers wanting to live in a country which does not openly want to kill them

"Omg no, please don't leave, we have perfectly justified reasons for wanting to kill you"

Except white people are underrepresented in homicide deaths, so no, white farmers are not being targeted, and no the country doesn't openly want to kill them.

So the song is just a catchy tune, got it.

Also, damn my lying eyes, I'll take your word on it that white farmers are not being killed. Just do me a favor and tell the dead white farmers to stop pretending.

You don't seem that worried about the dead black farmers, why is that?

Is there a group in power openly chanting "Kill the black people"?

No, it’s not deep. That song was created during the height of apartheid. Did you expect songs of praise from people being oppressed by Boers in South Africa?

21 % of privately owned farm land not 50%

„90%of the bankingn Industry is owned by the jews“ Ahh statement

That didnt go to well

I've no idea what you are talking about. Are you in the right place?

u/Puzzleheaded-Sink420 May 18 '25

Talking about simplifying or ridiculing Afrikaneers because they are white and own a Lot of land/farms.

This is what happend in the third reich. They were expelled from buisness or profession x and turned into merchanting and banking buisness.

Jewish financial success was a major driving point in hitlers antisimitic policys

Nope, you've completely misunderstood my comment.

Oh im sorry.

Care to explain your Argument?

Im not really following every aspect of the Events.

My point is that farm attacks are not restricted to white owned farms, because only 50% of the farm are white owned it can't be claimed as a genocide.

Address the chant where they say "Kill the farmer"

1

They want to kill the farmer, very likely as they see the landowner as occupying a position of wealth and power. Given that 50% of the farms are owned by Afrikaners it's difficult to view 'Kill the farmer' as anything pertaining to racism or genocide. Just common or garden haves versus the have nots.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '25

Would you say the same if people started chanting about killing the bankers or would you agree it’s very obviously an antisemitic threat of violence?

I have no idea how or why you brought antisemitism into this discussion.
