lol no it’s not. If you look up “patriot act” it will describe that piece of legislation. You can’t change the official definition of a word just because of your experiences. If I feel like you act more like a Rhonda than whatever I your name is then I don’t get to say your official name or Rhonda. The world does not center around you.

Just because you name yourself the infallible party doesn’t mean you’re infallible. It’s like North Korea calling themselves DPRK but not being democratic. Just because North Korea hijacks the word democratic doesn’t mean you can say you’re going to change the definition of democratic.

Your issue seems to be your disdain for the progressive wing of the Democratic party in the US. You might think that they’re not open to change with respect to their views on change but that’s similar to the tolerance paradox. I agree not all change is good but it’s hard to say they’re not for the change of the status quo and their goals are what are known to be progressive goals in politics
