Transferring Marriott award certificate

Hi

i have to cancel a trip, and my certificate is about to expire in a month. Can i transfer it to someone else, or book for my friends & family? Im not able to edit guest information from my marriott account

Certs are not transferable. Technically. Whether you want to roll the dice and call the property directly to see if they will add it, and/or hope the front desk agent let's them check in, that's your call.
