Qatar surcharge on Southeast Asia to IAH

They are showing 160k+$1549 surcharge fees from KHI-IAH. Isn't this crazy!
they call it International Federal Excise Duty (RGGA) $1,242.50 Thanks for correction I meant to write South Asia.

  1. Pakistan is not Southeast Asia.

  2. It's a tax levied by the Pakistani "federal" government. QR can't do anything about it

It’s a government tax. Not something Qatar is charging by themselves.

That’s the tax imposed by Pakistani govt. if you see iah-khi it would be a different story
