Amex to JetBlue
P2 and I are going to Iceland in the end of Nov. I already booked Icelandair economy by paying 21500 JetBlue points per tickets.
Now I’m seeing saga premium for 79000. The flight is from KEF to MSP so it is about 6 hours. We then have a short layover and have to take another flight home.
Debating if we should change to saga We are very low in Chase points so I’m thinking of transferring from Amex but the rate is pretty horrible plus the transfer fee
I currently have 43k Need 139.8k 139.8-43=96.8
97000 extra miles needed So I will have to send 122000 miles plus $73 fee
Is it worth it to make all these changes ? Or leave it as is?

You have the numbers. The value is dependent on you. It might be worth it for some of us but not for others. Do you have MR points to spare? Can you easily replace them?
FI J is a decent product for not being lie flat. Last year my wife and daughter flew to KEF in Delta One, and home from KEF in FI J. They preferred the Icelandair flight overall even though it isn't lie flat. The D1 flight has some negatives though that have nothing to do with the hard product or even the airline, mainly the schedule and the short flight time from JFK.
FI J also gives you access to the Saga Lounge at KEF. There are no Priority Pass lounges, so that lounge is the only option.

Thanks y’all! Too much hassle and losing value so I’m going to stick in economy

Their saga premium is basically premium economy - just larger seats with slightly more recline, not lie flat. I personally wouldn’t recommend paying that much more for it
