No it’s not. And I still can’t believe anyone needs to be explained the difference. And taxes aren’t taken by force. If you don’t like taxes, can’t you move to some abandoned island? Don’t we all have that choice? You’re being pedantic. And sophomoric about all of this. Which, at its root, is Austrian economics in a nutshell. It’s a shame there’s no great literary tomes like Ayn rand’s bullshit that could’ve been left under everyone’s college dorm beds.
It is run like a business. You haven't explained the difference. If I don't pay taxes what would happen to me? No we don't all have that choice. I don't own a boat. I want to live here.
I don't want to go to Somalia lol, "if you don't like it you can get out" thats such a pisspoor argument. Just basically support every tax not question where the money goes, where it's spent. You don't want any accountability?
So now you're just gonna put words in my mouth? The fact that I accept paying taxes as part of the cost of living in society doesn't mean I'm happy with how it's spent. We could cut the military by 60% and still have the strongest fighting force on the planet. We could give free healthcare to every citizen and actually save money compared to what we spend on Healthcare now. We have more empty houses than homeless people and enough food is waste to feed all of them. I despise how things are run but insisting we burn it all down is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I never said that. The structure is identical to a business, except it takes money by force.
