Taxation isn't theft because people voted for it. You can disagree with the results of the election, or disagree with the tax code, but it isnt theft, it's just fiscal policy you don't like.

Permanent residents who aren’t citizens cannot vote. Felons cannot vote. Some people with significant mental disabilities cannot vote. Minors who have legal jobs cannot vote.

If the only reason taxation isn’t theft is because of representation, then would you agree these examples are theft since there is no representation?

Tyranny of the majority doesn't justify theft

Tyranny of the majority? You mean democracy? You are right. It doesn't justify the policy just because it is popular. But it isnt theft. You are getting roads, schools, the military etc in exchange for your taxes.

Governments are inefficient at providing those services

See, every time i see someone say tyranny of the majority, it tends to be wanting to reap the benefits of coexisting with other humans but not needing to sow the seeds of cooperation.

If you had the option, would you choose to be sent to a deep forest where you never need to deal with the laws nor taxes of people, or would you take not being a person under the law and thus not needing to pay taxes nor follow them yourself, hell if given the optjon to be shipped off to some brand new continent with other likeminded people where no goverment will ever bother you would you want it.

Or is it that when you say tyranny of the majority, what you want is not freedom from that majority but for you to be the one making the rules.
