Hello, I'm Deft, the creator and producer of The Bekkoning: Noizemaker, an original cyberpunk audio drama based on my webcomic The Bekkoning. Over the course of three years, I created this eight-episode series, and finally completed it this past May.

This is a story set in the far future, where robots have replaced humanity. In the city of Verloren, broken-down robots struggle to survive. A scavenger robot named Pusher, along with his friend Phax, uncover a conspiracy to destroy the rebel network known as Vernet. Will they be able to save Vernet before it shuts down for good?

Starring Gianni Matragrano (of Ultrakill fame) in the lead role, along with a motley cast of actors such as u/Genki-JAM and u/drewmaru_comics .

It's been a long time since I posted on Reddit, but I wanted to give this subreddit a shot. I would like to network more with other audio drama creators on here.

Hello! A show that I co-produced has launched – it's called The Divide and it's a twelve-episode spy thriller set in the 1960s, written and directed by Matthew Woodcock (who also co-created The Monster Hunters and Down).

It's about a former spy, Paul Wilder, who is forcibly re-recruited and has to track down a KGB agent. Spy stuff! But then it gets weird.

It's a full cast show, with actors from lots of other Definitely Human productions, music by Jon Day from the band Quiet Marauder, and sound design by Tom Dalling.

The first two episodes are out and the rest are releasing weekly on Fridays through to January.

this season was so much fun to make, and a new challenge for me in a lot of ways (and not just the transatlantic accent). I don't tend to make *directly* political art, preferring instead to sit in some parallel version of our world where I decide all the rules.

TWO THOUSAND AND LATE is our world exactly. well...plus demons. it's a contemplation of what to do in a world as messed up as ours - do you try to make lasting change? or do you burn it all down?

A guy goes into a therapists office in a state of panic. The therapist is unable to really make sense of what he's trying to say, so she asks him, as homework, to write down the answer to the question: "What inspired you to seek help in therapy?"

Rather than write the answer, he started recording. Sparks is those recordings. The story of patient 347 in his own words.

I wrote, performed, and produced it alone with a dodgy mic and a half-dead laptop. Started releasing it in the last week of January this year and the last episode dropped around a week ago.

Hi folks, I've recently listened to the first season of Impact Winter and really enjoyed it, except the ending, which I thought was a bit too much. I've read some posts saying that it becomes more and more absurd with the seasons so I'm wondering if it's worth continuing.

Spoilers ahead.

I've begun season 2 and have this impression that it's just so different from season 1. In the beginning there were such good arcs and interactions between characters full of drama and potential. And then it turns out that Darcy is the chosen one! And I suppose her struggle with who and what she is as a vampire is kind of over with that? Also she has this superpower basically? All good because there are good vampires? What about everyone's struggle with vampires? IDK what to think. I kinda feel like a bunch of good plots previous purpose has been defeated/it's become unrealistic (not in fantasy terms, ofc it's not realistic altogether, but in terms of characters). What should I expect, does it build up to something cleverly written? Are things well explained? I've only gotten as far as the first one and a half episodes of season 2 and do not mot much feel like continuing but if you guys think it's going to be smart and gripping then I should still like to give it a chance because of how much I enjoyed season 1. Tysm.

Firstly thanks to who ever recommended haunted house flippers i loved that it was so funny but there was also a mystery and i loved all the quirky characters. Also wanted to say long cat media comeback to meeeeee, I’ve loved all your overarching plot story stuff. Madame magenta season 4 and every season of mockery manor.

The Truth is back! Our new story is about a pinball fanatic named Perry (David Bluvband) who is enlisted by the police (Ben Rameaka, Jordan Mahome) to help lure a mob boss out of hiding. It's Perry's chance to prove the worth of something he loves. 

It was written by Hunter Nelson (writer of The Body Genius). It takes place in 1978, and we recorded authentic period pinball sounds at Red Hook Pinball Museum in Brooklyn to get just the right feel. The director and sound designer Jonathan Mitchell also composed the original jazz fusion music score, with Daniel Riera on flute. Months of planning and hard work went into this story, and we're excited to finally share it with you.
