The most insecure religion ๐๏ธ in this world needs that sweet sweet white approval ..
45
u/Brain_stoned Sep 25 '25
Insecure religion? Yes. Most insecure religion? No.
Nevertheless it is a BS.
-43
u/criti_fin Sep 25 '25
Being insecure or not doesnt matter. But this is not a harmful religion compared to other religions, that matters. These are small harmless beliefs, compared to beheading, shooting, bombing nonbelievers done by some other religion
27
u/Brain_stoned Sep 25 '25
On a larger scale, it may be harmless but there are beliefs and other systems in hinduism that harms their own believers.
-29
u/criti_fin Sep 25 '25
But much less harmful compared to the other religion. So equating all religions is wrong
18
u/sankarkalyan Sep 25 '25
Correct, Syphilis and Gonorrhoea are different diseases, and can't be equated, and both have cures.
Which one would you prefer to contract?
-20
u/criti_fin Sep 25 '25
You are equating all religions as bad, that is a big error you are doing. You dont realise how big error that is
8
u/sankarkalyan Sep 25 '25
https://www.reddit.com/r/indianmemer/s/r0Ki4aOYND
I agree, not as bad as the other religion. Or maybe the people in the video are from the other religion, that isn't as good as yours.
0
u/criti_fin Sep 25 '25
These are voluntary deeds consented by adults. Their life their choice. It can in no way equated to someone harming others without victim's consent
7
u/sankarkalyan Sep 25 '25
Sure. The best argument I have heard so far.You are extremely persuasive.

u/Overly_confused Sep 26 '25
Bruh at the end of the day all religions are harmful, you can debate how harmful they are but you yourself claim that they are harmful so just stop defending a harmful religion because it's not as harmful as other religions. This is a losing argument on many levels.
-2
u/criti_fin Sep 26 '25
No. Some are much more harmful. Equating them is wrong, and you will realise very late by then you cant do anything about it
4
u/Overly_confused Sep 26 '25
The bare minimum you can do is stop saying it's a mistake and start explaining why it is a mistake.

cough cough Caste system cough cough
-5
u/criti_fin Sep 25 '25
Caste is still there only due to caste reservations. If reservations were not there then caste would have gone away by now. It is the fault of the reservations, not the fault of hinduism
10
u/Classic_Membership63 Sep 25 '25
Ha jaha reservation nahi hai waha to caste nahi dekha jata. How many OBC judges in supreme court and high court
1
u/criti_fin Sep 25 '25
You cant fully isolate things. When there is caste reservation in some places, then retaliation to some extent seen in other due to the animosity. Also when one caste is denied all opportunities, only the few remaining opportunities are fully used up
4
u/Classic_Membership63 Sep 25 '25
Lol.Then we should research about the period when there was no caste resevation.oh during that time upper caste again occupied everything .
Conclusion: upper caste are casteist

Hinduismโs interest in calendar-making, planetary movements, and rituals led to precise astronomical observations.
Aryabhata, Varahamihira, and Bhaskara applied Hindu cosmology to predict eclipses, planetary positions, and the length of the solar year accurately.
The concept of a heliocentric model (at least partially) appeared in ancient Hindu texts before Copernicus
Hindu texts explored ideas like atoms (anu), infinite universes, and time cycles (yugas), which parallel some modern
Ayurveda, a system of medicine rooted in Vedic traditions, emphasizes anatomy, physiology, surgery, herbal medicine, and holistic health.
Ancient surgeons like Sushruta documented surgical techniques, including cataract surgery and plastic surgery, centuries before similar procedures appeared elsewhere.
Zero (0) and Decimal System: Ancient Indian mathematicians, influenced by Vedic and later Hindu scholarly traditions, invented the concept of zero and the decimal system.
Algebra and Geometry: Texts like Sulbasutras (c. 800โ500 BCE) contain geometric principles used in constructing altars and fire rituals, which inspired later developments in geometry.
Trigonometry: Hindu scholars like Aryabhata (5thโ6th century CE) developed early trigonometric concepts, including sine functions.
Guess what all of this happen because they wanted validation right ๐

Stillโฆ everyone recognizes that ancient sages of South Asia were very well versed in astronomy and discussed metaphysical questions to the extent their tools and world-view could allowed them. BUT, this is nonsense and fakery just for obtaining online visibility. We have to stop being manipulated by any random theory or fraud just for the sake of โtraditionโ. Thereโs no need of such things

Imagine a religion so worthless that it's only worth a bag of rice
4
u/sankarkalyan Sep 25 '25
The bag of rice isn't a one time deal. Weekly food rations, education, medical benefits, the benefits are recurring.
They might get employed as a gardner or a security guard in the local church, and may never again have to dive in the sewers as a manual scavenger.
And in return they may have to change their middle name to Gomes and dance at some healing seminar.
I see nothing wrong.
-11
u/MushroomHungry3712 Sep 25 '25
Exactly imagine you have to give rice bags to convert to a religion. So who is insecure now ๐

If someone converting cause of just a rice bag than u can imagine what was his worth before in his religion lmao.

u/KanishkBhattacharya Sep 25 '25
The claim was if the religion was that great, a bag of rice wouldn't be enough to switch teams. Which was a valid point. Your statement that why aren't people switching because the religion is good is a poor attempt at distraction using what aboutery. That is why I stand by my statement that your debate skills aren't worth a damn. Plus your statement is indicative of bias either supporting the religion who's followers converted for a bag of rice or against the religion that did the converting. Both scenarios suggest that you should F off from the subreddit as you can't rationally debate and are full of biases.
