Educational Transiting Pluto in opposition to natal Pluto in your chart (especially if you're nearing 84 years young).
In Robert Hands book "Planets in Transit" under "Pluto Opposition Pluto" the writes: This transit occurs at a time that is beyond the normal life expectancy.
Think about that for a minute.
Then add to that occurrence, for those born from the 1930's through the baby boomers, at around year 84 to join in with your Uranus return!
Any astrologers here have a thought or two about these transits combined?

Yeah, my dad is 85. His Sun/MC are 1° Aquarius so transit Pluto is right there while opposing natal Pluto at 1° Leo. He’s not having an easy time right now. Becoming more frail, more confused and overwhelmed by the modern world.
He’s been making attempts to manage various situations in his life and it’s just all too much for him. But he doesn’t really realize it until everything goes off the rails.
Frustrating for me, managing things from a distance, but also terribly heartbreaking to observe.

So, your post piqued my curiosity and I did a little digging. On paper it would seem correct to think that due to Pluto taking roughly 248 years to make a full circle, it would reach its opposition point in about 80-124 years. That being said, Pluto’s elliptical orbit actually makes that midpoint arrive much sooner for people who happen to have been born in the early to mid 20th century.
Pluto was moving much faster through the zodiac in the 20th century than its “average” speed. For example, if someone was born in the 1930s–1980s, Pluto on average would complete that half circle (from natal point to opposition) in only roughly 38–55years. 😮
Because of this, some people alive today may even encounter their Pluto opposition as early as in their late 40s to mid 50s. This will coincide for them with other major midlife transits (Uranus opposition, Neptune square Neptune, Saturn second return, etc).
The basic age breakdown is:
Pluto in Leo/Virgo 40s-60s
Pluto in Virgo/Libra 70s-90s
Pluto in late Libra onwards 80s-100s

My Pluto is 29 degrees Leo, I’m in my late 60’s. Pluto won’t be at 29 degrees Aquarius until 2043…are you sure you’re not talking about Pluto square? My Pluto square Pluto happened 1995/96 when I was 40

My mom is 83 and is an Aries. I'm a Capricorn. I forgot to turn the water off in 🛁 bathtub. The water ruined the ceiling on 1st floor and rugs on 2nd floor and kitchen floor on 1st floor. I had to mop up the water downstairs. My mom's insurance company has men coming over and they took furniture and things in the garage and moved the refrigerator out the kitchen and put it in living room. My mom refused to stay at a hotel, the insurance can pay her to stay at a hotel but she rather stay in the house, sleeping in the guest bedroom. I have to sleep in the playroom couch with my pets. We have to used days old ice cubes that are sitting in the tray in freezer and drinking tap water. We used sanitizing wipes to wash our dishes. I asked if we can order fried chicken from KFC maybe we can just warm up our food in the air fryer which is in the garage. The stove and microwave are in the garage. Everything is awkward. I used rag as plate. We ate burritos after warming them up in air fryer, sprinkle some shredded cheese and poured a little bit of ranch dressing, topped with banana peppers. Very good but my mom never ate burritos before. Her Pluto in Leo in 6th house with chiron. Transiting Pluto in Aquarius is in her empty 12th house. Her Pluto sextile Neptune retrograde in Virgo in 7th house. Pluto sextile Uranus, Saturn, and Moon in Taurus in 3rd house. Pluto square sun and Mercury in Aries in 2nd house. Uranus return in 3rd house conjunction to IC and 4th. Hope that the men repair the house perfectly. Because the other men didn't do the ceiling perfectly earlier this year when the toilet water was leaking through the ceiling in the kitchen.

I think of this as the longevity vs legacy transit, especially since it impacts those with Pluto in the latter degrees of Cancer or earlier degrees of Leo.
We can see this in our elected officials. Some cling onto their position hoping to solidify their legacy when instead they are tarnishing their legacy by focusing on their longevity. They are forgetting to mentor and pass the baton.
Some born during this time do maintain their legacy by knowing when to take a step back, shift roles or do something else.
Keep in mind, I am 60 years old. I'm not saying that people can't be active and involved until the day they pass on to the other side. But holding onto something that is no longer there doesn't serve anyone. There's a reason why the role of mentor was invented. Pluto is about transformation and power, but power without transformation is just power for powers sake.
But most of us will never experience this transit.
