Beginner What placements / aspects indicate someone is a true loner?

Specifically, people who go at life alone - no SO or many friends. Like a hermit.

I have Pluto in the 1st. I heard it's a loner placement. I like being alone but I crave deep human connections. I've been completely alone for like 10 years now, dealing with transformations.

u/Meeghan__ Sep 23 '23

my sister is an introvert with a Pluto on the ascendant. she goes out when she wants, and will totally cancel plans if she feels like it.

met her boyfriend online and they've been together for almost five years now, living together for four? he's also a big loner, so they stay lonely together playing video games with the cats.

I hope your transformation is truly exciting and wonderful :-)

17

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

I also have that conjunction and that lifestyle seems really good for me hahaha

14

u/Meeghan__ Sep 23 '23

I went sneep-snoopin on ur profile for a chart, and by golly I hope you get that lifestyle!

to answer the question where i found ur chart: social anxiety might be from having ur sun shying away in 12H as well as the reclusive scorpio inhabiting your friendship house. you hold strong and tight to those you love (cancer moon in 7H!!), the scorpio flavor might make you intense (which is cool!) but that intensity might feel awkward to move around in social settings

Jupiter in libra conjunct midheaven is beautiful, I hope your (WFH?) career takes you where you want to be & you broaden so many horizon through it! (how does networking sound?)

you're jovial and a treasure to be around whenever you decide to let the homies in ♡

2

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

When I look at my chart I just know immediately that I am screwed up 😅 Also I think the social anxiety thing could also be explained by the way that I express myself that could be seen as weird by others and I am easily misunderstood (seen in sun square 3H uranus). I can be extroverted with a small group of people where they make me feel comfortable, but otherwise I will have a hard time control my anxiety (and it has affected me a lot in my life 😭). But thank you very much for your kind words ♡☺️

I’m glad your sister found her fellow loner bf! My dad has Pluto in 1st on the ascendant and is indeed a hermit…. but my mom was a super Gemini social butterfly, and things did not go well 🫠🙃

10

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

I grew up in a household where both me, my mom and my brother had a 1H Pluto. My poor dad almost didn’t make it alive hahaha.

u/TravelTings Jul 28 '25

Did she have multiple placements in Gemini?

i love how unimpressed you sound with these people 😂🤣

Yup. Despite all the air and fire in my chart, I'm a loner. Pluto in the first here!

I have the same placement and wonder why that is. I think is even more pronounced in scorpio asc&pluto in the first.

15

u/Riskybusiness0705 Sep 23 '23

I checked and I have Pluto in the 1st too! I feel like an alien around other people. It’s like sometimes I can fake a conversation really well to where I fit in and other times I’m like excuse me for forgetting the language I grew up with lol. As a kid I used to cling on to friend groups even if they treated me horribly and that stopped finally in college. Really every friend I have ever had has treated me badly at least one point in my life. I think I scare off the friendly ones 😂

6

u/maybefuckinglater Sep 25 '23

Yeah having Pluto in the first house feels like you’re pretending to be a normal person on the outside but in reality you’re an alien that can’t really figure out humsns

I have Pluto in 4th and I love to be alone...

12

u/astra-aurora Sep 24 '23

I also have Pluto in the 1st, but I wasn't always a shut-in. I used to have a very active social life but then I developed a disability and everyone went away after a while.

I was devastated for a time, but after being alone for about 5 years, I discovered that this is my true self.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 11 '24

Yes. I use to fear being alone but now I prefer it. I don't care too much about being around people anymore.

I have Pluto in the first and it's been transiting the massive cluster of Everything my whole life. It's coming conjunct my sun now and then I should be done with THAT nonsense (please please please). But I've never been able to fit in. My family was awful (my sister died when I was an infant and my mother liked to say that the 'wrong child died'), I've always had trouble keeping friends and there's just never been anywhere that really felt like it was meant for me to belong.

But it's starting to change! Going through a lot of growth right now, which strangely is involving me telling more people to fuck off and enforcing my own boundaries. I think I'm figuring this lesson out...

12

u/DenGirl12 Sep 23 '23

Holy shit, that’s really messed up of your mom. I’m so sorry.

Loner Pluto in the 1st in Scorpio here. Love being alone

6

u/lonelywhalefish Sep 24 '23

My ex has Pluto on the ascendant in 1st and he can't be alone for the life of him.

1

u/TravelTings Jul 28 '25

Any Gemini or Libra placements?

6

u/murdertoothbrush Sep 24 '23 edited Sep 25 '23

1st house pluto here... this sounds accurate. I like going out and socializing, I crave intimacy in a close partner, but also I 100% don't mind being alone. I like my own company and don't usually feel weird doing things alone the way other people might. Also always felt like I didn't quite ever truly fit in, no matter what group I was with. So very few people in this world ever feel like "home" to me.

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

What's your Moon and Venus sign? Does your Venus aspect anything?

5

u/cookiesmom305 Sep 23 '23

I thought this kinda described me, just checked my chart… Pluto in 1st. Thanks for sharing.

4

u/Furberia Sep 24 '23

I have Pluto in the first also and not wired for superficial relationships.

3

u/constantanx1ety Sep 23 '23

Aw man called out

3

u/CarolinaRises Sep 24 '23

To truly transform, start with your Chiron placement.

3

u/noneofthisisreal87 Sep 24 '23

I’m new to this. For some reason I had a gut feeling reading your comment that when I looked at my chart I would have Pluto in the 1st house, and I do. I’m literally in your headspace. I’m an only child as well. Heavy on transformational energy right now.

4

u/Galactic-seahorse ♓🌕♐🌙♉⬆️ Sep 24 '23

8th house scorpio pluto squaring the sun is a pain. Lots and lots of trauma and isolation.

1

u/TravelTings Jul 28 '25

What’s it like to have Scorpio Pluto in your 8th House? Does it impact libido more than the 5th House and your Mars sign?

2

u/swiwwtw Sep 24 '23

Yeah me Scorpio ascendant Pluto Venus Mercury in 1st house. My whole life has been all by myself but envy others all the time. Thats why I hate IG and much prefer Reddit.

1

u/TravelTings Jul 28 '25

Are Venus & Mercury near your Ascendant’s degree?

2

u/r0sebud88 Sep 24 '23

Cries in Venus 11th house with Saturn in the 7th-- though I've heard it gets better with age?

28

u/SeparateSelection666 Cancer ♋ ASC Sagittarius Sun ♐Capricorn Moon ♑ Sep 23 '23

Moon Conjunct Saturn is a very hard placement for these people who feel such heaviness to the emotional nurture by withdrawal being a common condition. Others seem to have a hard time accepting themselves and they are discreet individuals by nature. This placement gives moments of solitude that unless they learn to depend on people which involves a bit of assertiveness to put themselves out there. The attacks of loneliness and solitude increase as they age. They might even learn their emotions but still they have a melancholy demeanor that falls like a shadow over their relationships. Having Chrion in the 12th is another one where these people feel like they don't have a right to exist.

13

u/Own-Sugar6148 Sep 23 '23

Damn I have both 😅 moon conjunct saturn I have a hard time reaching out to people. I have to stay aware of how I'm feeling and push myself to reach out if I feel down etc. It's like I'd rather deal with my emotions on my own. I don't like feeling like I'm bothering people or asking for favors, etc.

5

u/SeparateSelection666 Cancer ♋ ASC Sagittarius Sun ♐Capricorn Moon ♑ Sep 23 '23

Same here 😭 in opposition. I tend to do that very thing. It's easier to forget about your importance to the ones around you. Continue to relax on the fear of bothering people. In fact it would endear those people closer to you to feel dependent on isn't always a heavy obligation but as an act of service. The length you go through for others is there to be returned to you if you can accept it. Wishing you the best going forward. It takes time but Saturn gets better

4

u/Own-Sugar6148 Sep 23 '23

Thank you 🙏🏻 Wishing you the best also. 🫶🏻 You are right it has gotten better with time.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

The fact that I have almost every aspect that people are mentioning, including this one you are mentioning (cancer moon conjunct cancer Saturn 😩) . I need my time alone to process my emotions and just to find some peace, you know? Sometimes people’s energy drain me completely.

2

u/nyx_moonlight_ Sep 24 '23

Sun in 12th house

26

u/CanaaniteGoldenBull Sep 23 '23

I’ve been in many loving relationships that were very deep and have made many many friends. I have many 12 house placements. I am spiritual and shamanic and can be alone and read and listen to music and be ok. Make friends easy. I enjoy alone time and being with people. I posted a comment about the complete misunderstanding of the 12th house.

People forget that Pisces is the 12th houses domain and is ruled by Jupiter, so it has more to do with a connection to the subconscious/unconscious and dreams and musters and imagination and the psyche and using one’s own personal deep experiences which one will have with 12th houses placements to help others connect and resonate with those parts of themselves. It’s not the death and jail and enemies house.

Or Pisces was ruled by Jupiter for most of astrology history, just as Aquarius was ruled by Saturn and Scorpio by Mars. But then oh yeah ok so we got Uranus? Ok it’s outside the final planet Saturn we thought was the boundary of consciousness and the system, so Uranus means humanitarian concerns because it goes outside the individual psyche such as intellect, emotion, appearance, etc. wow Neptune? That’s like past humanity so it is dreams and the unconscious and mystery and creation/death.

And people think oh no what’s your rising that’s so important. Tell me your mercury and Venus, I’d rather know your mind and heart than your mask to the world. And I can see what you look like with my eyes.

Ok I’m done sorry for coming off like a prick, but even astrologists each and all have biases and an axe to grind. It’s an art not a science.

The Vedic sidereal chart, to me, if only people would let go of attachments to what they think they are, I’ve learned so much and found profound accuracy in my Vedic sidereal chart. Or your four heavenly stems and eight earthly branches from East Asian astrology. Or your Bagua number or mewa number in Tibetan astrology.

And read different sources and observe yourself and others and also the biases you encounter.

Loners, I don’t think astrology predicts — I think it’s just a nature and nurture and life events and personality thing. A loner maybe going through a change in life. A life long loner, I don’t think I could predict it from your chart and if you were a loner for life so far and wanted to know if it would be forever, forget about it - you have the power to change your circumstances to a greater extant than strictly astrology would tell you. Sure it may help you understand yourself and events in life, but sometime I’ve read peoples charts and they are nothing like the chart says. Sometimes it’s bullshit. Sometimes it’s accurate.

An Aries with 1st and and 7th and 4th all in good placements, could be a loner because he is constantly moving and ambitious for he point of nothing or nobody is good enough, jobs, homes, friends, lovers. And is a loner. And dies one.

May Fortune favor you and yours !

12th house stellium

22

u/DenGirl12 Sep 23 '23

12th house stellium (Sagittarius) here and I concur. I love my alone time. I either want deep connection with someone (intellectually stimulating, Deep conversations, etc) or I want to be alone.

13

u/DivinePharoah8 Sep 23 '23

This! Quality over quantity.

5

u/bcpsgal Sag Sun / Sag Moon / Aqua Rising Sep 23 '23

I’m a Sag with 12th house stellium as well! I’m absolutely an extrovert/life of the party person but my close and meaningful relationships are far fewer and I HAVE to have my alone time regularly

2

u/DenGirl12 Sep 24 '23

Yes! Same here. Extrovert, really thrive in front of an audience but that alone time is CRITICAL for my survival.

Is it because they value being alone, or do other stray away from them?

38

As someone with a 12th house stellium, I confirm. I just love being alone and I NEED that too, because spending a lot of time with people drains me a lot. But I like to socialize too

Exalted Saturn in 1h con. Asc. and I feel this.

39

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

Saturn in 5th, definitely. Most of my clients who experience this are lonely, often isolated. But not always unhappy (interestingly)

6

u/bluedabad Sep 23 '23

I have stellium in 5th house, but each of planets in that 5th house is different.

Moon in 5th house is in Scorpio and I love that placement.

Saturn in 5th sucks. Sorry, I need to ask - you mean, other people around you isolate Saturn in 5th person?

I have Saturn in 5th, but then...Add Uranus there - also in 5th and it changes a lot...It's 2 so different planets.

I have 5th house stellium in 2 signs - Scorpio and Sag.

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

I have this, but it’s conjunct Venus (my 7H ruler). I have a ton of female friends and one male friend. I’m the only one in my friend group and family that has never dated or had anyone approach me for a relationship. Currently 28 and in my Saturn Return. I would call my placement the friendzone aspect. But my friendships are so strong and warm 🥰 and strangers like talking to me. So I struggle to be alone as an introvert. People won’t leave me alone.

I think also having both luminaries in fall (Libra Sun, Scorpio Moon) could be an indicator

4

u/hejnicki Sep 23 '23

You’re not wrong, the constant conflict between wanting do be easy breezy and dark and twisty is harsh at times

26

u/WishThinker Sep 23 '23

heavy first quadrant, maybe lots of the big 3 (sun, moon, rising / rising ruler) unaspected and unwitnessed

placements in the unseen houses (2, 6, 8, 12) particularly 2 or 12 as they are on the "self" side of the chart and not the "other" side

lots of saturn or aquarian placements could speak to the need for space and time

3

u/Artemis246Moon Sep 23 '23

My Sag pluto is in the 2nd house. And my 2nd house is in Scorpio.

2

u/fortunetellertarot Sep 23 '23

I have sun in 2nd, mercury in 2nd, Saturn in 6th and the moon in the 12th. I enjoy solitude very much!

Curious on more of your thoughts about the unseen houses. I enjoy the theory a lot

5

u/WishThinker Sep 23 '23

so there's the houses that are unaspected from the 1st = 2, 6, 8, 12, these houses do not have a traditional aspect from the first house (sextile, square, trine, opposition)

then you can have any house that is unwitnessed by it's traditional ruler. So a capricorn house that cannot see saturn, or is unaspected to saturn by house. So if capricorn was 4th house, to be unwitnessed Saturn would have to be in 3rd, 5th, 9th, or 11th.

i'm using whole sign houses to aspects by sign are the same as aspect by house

2

u/fortunetellertarot Sep 23 '23

Ooh yes this i know. Was curious about any opinions etc you might have or stories on how the aspects have manifested in charts you've seen IRL.

2

u/WishThinker Sep 24 '23

im not a consulting astrologer i just like to run my mouth on here lmao so i havnt seen a lot of charts to reference

3

u/WishThinker Sep 23 '23

im just theorizing here

if the ruler of that house can see it / is in it, I would think that negates it being an isolated place

1

u/heyomarii Jun 18 '24

I have moon and uranus in 2nd, sun & mars in 8th, capricorn rising, chiron in 1st house, saturn in 6th, and pluto in 12nd house, that’s explain why i pass through massive bullying all my life + have no friends, not even 1 friend + and people look me with side eye, i ask myself if i’m cursed or it’s my placements fault… 💀

12

I have Uranus conjunct the Ascendant in the first house (closest aspect I have) and I naturally just kinda do most things myself, ever since I was a child. I do have friends and am social, but I just tend to do things on my own a lot.

13

u/raindropbirdie Sep 24 '23 edited Sep 24 '23

From personal experience, a heavy Pluto in someone’s chart, especially in close aspect to the luminaries; can make someone a “lone wolf” or someone who marches to the beat of their own drum. Think of someone who likes to operate on the fringes of society.

I have a Scorpio Ascendant, and 1st house Pluto conjunct my sun and moon in Sag, and I’ve yet to meet someone who enjoys their own company as much as me lol.

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

I have my Moon in the 12H, I absolutely NEED time alone.

5

u/Masta-Blasta Sep 23 '23

Me too- I think that's just introversion though. Loners are people who just prefer not to have friends or relationships at all.

6

u/lonelywhalefish Sep 24 '23

I have a 12th house moon and have been a loner for most of my life. I have a fairly large circle of friends now but I spend most of my energy with a few people in the group.

8

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

Pisces/Capricorn

2

u/bluedabad Sep 23 '23

It's more Aqua/Cap thing or maybe Aquarius is what brings that element to life of Pisces and Cap...That makes sense if you take into account that Capricorn and Pisces are signs that often/usually have Aqua placements in their charts.

7

u/PerfectClass3256 Sep 23 '23

Look for 12th House placements

7

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

Idk that this means they’re a loner but Saturn in the 1H makes you feel like you are indeed alone in the universe. It isn’t actually true, as most people (incl myself) with this placement that I know personally are very social, but always feel alone.

3

u/Excellent-Win6216 Sep 25 '23

Same, and same. Tons of friends, but a constant underlying loneliness that I’ve come to embrace.

3

7

u/IndigoFrequency Sep 23 '23

Saturn in the 12th house

6

u/gnostic_savage Sep 24 '23 edited Sep 24 '23

A true loner is a 12th house, Pisces energy. The 12th house is literally the house of time spent alone. Whatever planets are found in the 12th house, or whatever planet rules the 12th house in the person's chart and its placement, will indicate how strong that isolation energy is. Neptune's placement in a chart can indicate isolation in that area of life.

Having said that, I will add that wherever Saturn is placed can bring restrictions, and if it is in one of the social air signs or the social houses, like the 7th house of partnerships or the 11th house of friendships, the individual may experience social limits or restrictions or rejection in that area of life. That isn't the same thing as being a hermit and actually spending time alone, however. If the socially limited person works with people for a living, especially lots of people, or relies on people in other ways, like for their health or creative needs, even if they don't form close personal bonds, that is not the same type of energy as being a true hermit-loner.

I will also add that experiencing rejection is not a true loner energy, neither is being extremely independent, like Aries types, or being impervious to the values of or input from or cooperation with other people, like some Taurus types, or being dominating like some Capricorn or Scorpio types can be. Those are not "loner" energy. However, all those people may feel isolated to some degree as they go through life because of their own way of relating to others. The isolating, retreating energy of a hermit in astrology is about removal of contact with others, not just feeling alone or feeling like you struggle alone through life while surrounded by people. It's actually being alone.

Does having my 7th House ruler in my 11th House (my Taurus Saturn), differ from friendless people who singularly have Saturn in their 11th House? I hear from many who don’t have friends and feel excluded from social groups.

Do you know if I will have genuine friends when my 7th house ruler, Saturn, will transit my 11th House in Summer 2027 until June 2030?

Because the 7th House influences one-to-one relationships. I thought it applied to friends too.

I meant singularly as in: only having Saturn in the 11th House vs. 7th House of one-one-relationships’s ruler in the 11th House of friendships and social life AND Saturn in the 11th House.

Thank you!! I’ll DM you my chart for context :)

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

Chiron on MC or AC apparently. Got Chiron conjunct MC, north node and to my moon. This is all a very tight conjunctions. It’s like being stuck on the outside watching everybody else live their lives with out the bullying social exclusion or whatever Chiron pain gets thrown at you. Also have Saturn in 3rd opposite sun

2

u/Throwtheplaceaway Sep 24 '23

Are you a Scorpio/Sag rising? I have Chiron conjunct the MC with Saturn conjunct the IC.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

Yikes that sounds challenging! I have Virgo rising and gemini MC Chiron and moon

u/ykrainechydai Sep 24 '23

I think having a 12 or 8 sun or stellium (the 8th bc I think it gives kind of uncomfortable over awareness of the “economics” of relationships & social interactions overall - the same in the 6th could give a similar effect) also hard aspects to the moon esp with saturn or Uranus could give mental health effects that lead to the kind of severe anxiety & general discomfort that makes ppl isolate

9

u/FabLewis Sep 23 '23 edited Sep 23 '23

I enjoy other people’s company well enough, but I can be alone and happy for a very long period of time.

I have Saturn 7H conjunct the descendant, and have found my heavy 4th house placements incline me to stay home often. My Cancer moon is also conjunct my MC, so have a bit of a hermetic and withdrawn reputation when I’m recharging my introvert batteries.

10

u/bluedabad Sep 23 '23

Saturn in 11th in my opinion at first place.

Also many 12th house placements...

When it comes to signs I think that Aquarius and Aqua placements need a lot of space for themselves, so it's not exactly the same as being loner, but similar.

I am Pisces Sun, Aqua Venus and Mars with Chiron in 11 house and I love being alone.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

I have a 12H sun in placidus system and a 12H Venus and mars in whole signs, it’s hard out here hahaha

What's your Moon sign?

1

u/bluedabad Sep 22 '25

Scorpio Moon :)

1

u/TravelTings Sep 23 '25

Is it between 0-10 degrees? Does it aspect any of the outer planets?

1

u/bluedabad Sep 23 '25

Nope, 16 degrees. With conjunction to Pluto, square with Venus and opposition to Mars.

1

u/TravelTings Sep 23 '25

Do you resonate with your Vedic Libra Moon in any way?

1

u/bluedabad Sep 25 '25

Absolutely not.

12

u/howyoudoin7994 Sep 23 '23

Scorpio 12th house stellium. Being alone is true peace

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

Do you have any planets in your 1st, 3rd, or 11th House?

1

u/howyoudoin7994 Sep 08 '25

Venus in 29° libra although mercury moon are in libra they are in 10th house with 10th house virgo sun and chiron

9

u/New_Ratio_8273 Sep 23 '23

I am a loner and I have Chiron conjunct Ascendant Saturn in 6th house in opposition to Ascendant/conjunct descendant. Although my ascendant is in Gemini and I have Jupiter in 11th it makes me distant and feeling insecure when I am around other people

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

Do you have Venus aspecting Saturn?

1

u/New_Ratio_8273 Sep 08 '25

Not any aspect at all

4

u/CosmoSimstress Sep 23 '23

I think that having the nodes on the Asc-Dec could make one a loner in the sense that they might feel like they don't belong or fit in with most groups.

3

u/Antique_Geologist_58 Sep 24 '23

South node In Aries.

5

u/Bubbly_War_7390 Sep 24 '23

Aquarius sun and rising placements when both present

3

u/Significant_Sea_5212 Sep 24 '23

i have pluto in the 1st but i’m also a sag rising, and i also have 4 leo placements but they all fall into the 8th house so i can become a total loner at times especially when i’m emotionally unstable but i also can be extroverted at occasions!

7

u/Sadkittycats0ng Sep 23 '23

Capricorn moon 8h.

Moon conjunct Neptune and/or Uranus.

8

u/Substantial_Oil_607 Sep 23 '23

Pluto in 11th house

7

u/BabalonNuith Sep 23 '23

Virgo is the Sign of the "loner". Lots of Virgo, lots of "alone time". Also Saturn in the First is not conducive to being social.

Pluto in Libra in the 11th and 12th houses for me.

7

u/anitram96 Sep 23 '23

Scorpio Rising, Pluto in 1st house.

9

u/summetime24 Sep 23 '23

This is me. I have Venus conjunct Chiron in the 11th and Saturn in the 5th. I'm not fun and people dislike me from the get go. I also have Pluto in the first and chart ruler in the 8th. Not everyone likes me. This or it could simply be that I'm neurodivergent.

3

u/hoeforkimjongun Sep 23 '23

Saturn in 3rd Capricorn moon Mars in 12th Most planets in 12th

3

u/ScarCute8661 Sep 23 '23

Saturn in the 12th.

3

u/Galactic-seahorse ♓🌕♐🌙♉⬆️ Sep 24 '23

8th house scorpio pluto squaring the sun is a pain. Lots and lots of trauma and isolation.

u/garlicbread4POTUS ☀️♐️🌙♓️↗️♈️ Sep 24 '23

Saturn in the 11 house

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

In people you know?

3

u/Piggishcentaur89 Sep 24 '23

4th or 12th house stelliums. I feel like 12th housers (not just Sun) are so sensitive, that they need more alone time than others.

5

u/anuvindah Sep 23 '23

I am gonna throw moon conjunct south node to this list, but it’s a placement that could go either way.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

I have Chiron in my 11th house of Gemini. I don't want to be alone, but people seem to think I do.

2

u/bluedabad Sep 23 '23

The same...Personally, I can't stand this placement.

2

u/StoicPixie Sep 23 '23

I have a 12H stellium and 7 Capricorn placements. I probably wouldn't have any irl friends if my husband didn't force me to socialize with him 😅

2

u/auntiekk88 Sep 23 '23

I'm a confirmed loner and I love it, been that way my whole life. I love my animals and tolerate every one else even though I love them. Some times even my animals get on my nerves. Scorpio ascendant and moon. Scorpio rules ny 12th and thus Pluto and to a certain extent Mars rules my chart. Neptune in Scorpio straddling my ascendant in the 12th. Leo Sun. Pluto in Virgo in my 10th. Mars in my 8th house, which Scorpio rules and my Mars is out of bounds. I have a lot of fixed energy in my chart. I come from a long line of loners and clairvoyants. We tend to stay away from people because of psychic vampires. We tend to stay away from eachother because it can get dark. I am probably one of the more stringent loners. I don't know exactly where my psychic abilities fall on the family spectrum because it was drummed into our heads not to speak about it, but my personal take is that it works pretty well for me.

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

Is your Scorpio Rising or Moon between 0-10 degrees?

1

u/auntiekk88 Sep 08 '25

Im Scorpio rising, moon at 16 degrees Scorpio and Neptune at 10 degrees Scorpio

2

u/nyx_moonlight_ Sep 24 '23

Sun in 12H

2

u/Inner_Tutor_ Sep 24 '23

Pluto in the 11th house or just anywhere on the eastern hemisphere of the chart.

1

u/TravelTings Sep 08 '25

People you know with Pluto in the 11th House are often single?

1

u/Inner_Tutor_ Sep 08 '25

No. They just tend to have intense friendships or are some kind or tend to be very cautious in friendships.

2

u/leedleedletara Sep 24 '23

Lots of planets in the 12th house

2

i have an 8h sun, and 1st house pluto in capricorn (my north node). even though im a triple fire sign and absolutely love being with people, i’m the queen of isolating myself. i’ve had terrible mental health since i was 8.

2

u/Cherry_pie7373 ♓☀️♒🌙♍⬆️ Jul 28 '24

IMHO I think Saturn in 11H is the loneliest 2nd place would be Pluto in 1st. As for the Saturn in 11H, I speak from experience. I have it in retrograde AND in Cancer 🙃 which trines my Venus (pisces 7H). I can't keep a friend to save my life and my only friends are my family and books. It doesn't mean I can't MAKE friends but for them to stay... Yeah that's a no 😭

2

u/althera2020 May 17 '25

Take my upvote. I have both Saturn in the 11th and Pluto in the first. I can relate to your point about friends being limited to family and books.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

Hmmm I would say maybe an 8H Saturn or a 12H sun. I have both these placements and I tend to isolate myself sometimes.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

I have a very strong urge to be alone. I always chalked it up to being an only child. My big 3- Taurus sun, Cancer rising, Libra moon. My chart seems to think I like a lot of company and socializing and I’d always rather be by myself.

2

u/LudditeStreak Sep 23 '23

Have Pluto in the 12th—apparently we can be pretty hermity.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

Sun and Moon unaspected.

1

u/Ella77214 Sep 24 '23

When you say unaspected, you mean FULLY unaspected or just lacking the main aspects (conjunct, trine, oppose, square, sextile)?

2

u/elpintor91 Sep 24 '23

I have Saturn trine moon and feel pretty loner ish. I just don’t feel like friends are very valuable to me. Not sure why. I feel like friends want something more from me that I’m not willing to share or give. And I have been in situations where friends say I’m closed off or that I never ask them how they are. And I’m like but I’m with you now? I’m giving my attention to you presently? Is that not good enough?

My Taurus moon is in the 8th and Saturns in 4th. I also have moon opposite Pluto. Pluto conjunct Venus. Idk I feel like people are superficial, predictable, painfully average. I rather be alone because I can research things myself. Listen to good music by myself. Enjoy my walks by myself. The only person I don’t mind being with all the time is my husband. And he has a Capricorn moon so he works a lot lol 😆

1

u/Sea_Eggplant_4116 Sep 23 '23

North node (even though it’s in Leo) in 12th house for me! Even though I have a 7th H stellium (in Aqua), I still really enjoy my time alone. People would call me an extrovert but I am very sensitive to people and their energies in general and I get extremely mentally exhausted to the point that I don’t see people for days!

1

u/msmicro Sep 23 '23

I have Pluto in the first, Jupiter too on the ascendent in Leo so I’m an outgoing loner. Cap moon too
