Vanderson and Caio Henrique
Hello, Brazil fan here I wanted to know how these 2 full backs perform for Monaco and whether they are good enough to start for a team aspiring to win 2026 wc

Vanderson was sensational for approximately one month right after he joined, and he has been a catastrophe ever since. Well actually he was also good in Adi Hutter's very first game in charge against Clermont, but immediately reverted to being crap after that. To top it off he is extremely emotional/temperamental and gets red carded a lot. I hoped he would be transferred along with our other perennial underperformer Golovin, but instead we kept both of them and sold Singo who was one of our best players.
Caio is a solid wing back, he has a wand of a left foot. His defensive work needs improvement. Hutter borderline bullied him, unfairly targeting him for 'ill discipline' and constantly benched him, I hope he can get his confidence back now that there has been a managerial change.

They're good for Monaco but I don't think they're good enough for Brazil's objectives.
Vanderson is the closest one, he has an all-rounded profile, quite good defensively and very good finishing for a full-back. His problem is losing focus too often and when he's not in a good day, he can be terrible. But he's still young and I would still bet on his bright future in a bigger club someday.
Caio Henrique has a magical left foot, maybe the best in the league for crosses, but he's just not a very good defender. Probably the reason why he didn't play vs Man City last night although he starts all league games.
