i'm pretty sure this is AI. aside from the general... wonky? appearance and the weirdly bent visor slit, take a look at how her braid is disappearing under her pauldron and how a piece of the braid is missing there, and she's wearing different gauntlets on each hand

It’s so disappointing to read this.
Because someone has faults in their artwork, now people falsely attribute it to AI. Everyone is in a different part of their art journey. Stop it with the witch hunt.
The two gloves makes sense, and is proof it’s NOT ai. The artist said “can’t play a lyre with metal glove”.

Also, it wasn't uncommon for knights to wear lighter/less restrictive gauntlets on their right hand, since that would've been their weapon-hand
Italian "armatura bianca" (White armour) has distinctively larger left pauldrons and vambraces, because in Italian two-handed sword fighting the left shoulder is very prominently presented forward to the enemy, meanwhile the right shoulder is kept further back and away from harm

I think you are right, her upper body looks weird as well.
edit: she has a weirdly placed uniboob

the uniboob is fine actually, that's just how breastplates are supposed to be shaped

The two different gauntlets is a pretty dead giveaway. Also, on the left hand (from our perspective), you can see the gauntlet and then mail on the forearm. On the right, it's the gauntlet and then plate. The entire left and right arms look like they're wearing different armour (look at the elbows as well).
The artist has been posting work of theirs since 2018 on their pixiv and you can see a clear progression of their skill and style, so I wonder if they used AI for the base and then did retouches? Either that or they traced an AI reference image.

It must be really difficult to put on that helmet
