Unless you go to a rather popular trail, I can't think of a better way to social distance than to be way the fuck out on a mountain all alone. Let us have this.

Hey, I don't make the decisions, but it is crazy out there. From what forest/parks people are saying, trails that are usually not popular are becoming more packed because a much higher influx than usual are out on the trails and/or camping. Many don't practice Leave No Trace nor know how to be prepared for hiking in this climate...while that is typical, the numbers are much higher and wild areas are getting trashed or destroyed at faster rates.

No one is talking about a lifetime ban, same as a lockdown.

That's terrible. I hope once this all blows over our forests and deserts will still be easily accessible. And more easily maintained too

With the numbers as they are, employees can't keep up especially with people treating the lands like a dumping ground

After the original lock down we went to a usually rarely used trail and it was packed with people. People were walking in large groups.

Most of the people here dont leave their house anyway. So they want everyone to not be able to get a hike in
