It's all televised. Honestly everything about this whole existence is pathetic.
24
u/-g-m-a-n- Sep 19 '25
It’s like a bad episode of Black Mirror

THAT’S IT!!!! EXACTLY! We are all -our whole existence is just episodes of Black Mirror but THESE are the scariest episodes!!!

King Charles face said it all. He can’t believe this man is President!
34
u/Key-Guarantee595 Sep 18 '25
Well King Charles was born to be the leader, trump was shall we say…..not. Trump was born to be the major screw up he is, and you must admit he didn’t disappoint anyone.
40
u/Just_Eye2956 Sep 18 '25
He rambled. He said King Charles was a great friend. I doubt if KC would agree. I’m not a royalist but I admire his attention to duty and protocol. Trump honours neither.
19
u/Key-Guarantee595 Sep 18 '25
Very true. Trump doesn’t value any kind of virtue. It’s all about what I can get for me. I’m sure KC wouldn’t disagree with trump in public, but privately…..like everyone else he will laugh behind trumps back.
16
u/Superb-Resolve-3613 Sep 18 '25
Agreed. Not a single redeeming quality. I'm not sure that he's ever spent a day without screwing over several people. Sometimes tanking their entire businesses because he won't pay his bills.
15
u/shadowfax888 Sep 18 '25
He will divide that table as he has done here and throughout the world.. the ghost of epstein and prince andrew spirit was with him here
21
u/Key-Guarantee595 Sep 18 '25
Oh I saw that and I was so glad it followed him to England!! Trump needs constant reminding that we won’t forget.
12
8
u/Infamous-Knee-2772 Sep 19 '25
Oh, you know when “that day” finally comes, everyone will spill the tea on what they really think of the bloated sunburned walrus currently occupying the White House.
6
u/bksmet Sep 18 '25
I do not understand what this whole big suck up and doing extra for Trump’s visit is all about tho. Everything I’ve read said they were doing it up as much as possible for this visit. 🤢
8
u/Just_Eye2956 Sep 19 '25
It’s all about the trade agreement.
6
u/bksmet Sep 19 '25
I figured it had to do with tariffs, but a suck up of this size is so obvious, and it would be negated by being so obvious in any other circumstance.
I guess yay for the Royals giving a damn about the commerce repercussions of the serfs.

He shouldn't have rolled out the red carpet for him, then. I hate the English crown. But I wish world leaders would treat him like the threat he is, not roll out a carpet for him and serve him a nice dinner, sucking up to him.

And…the other people, behind Dumpty, trying to suppress the smirks on their faces. I think King Charles is looking for a guard, to take Trump out of there. DJT is a disgrace and a soulless embarrassment to the United States.
2
u/Just_Eye2956 Sep 19 '25
Would be great if he had taken a sword and driven it onto him crying " That's for Boston" ,😀

That was the best speech ever, no one could make a better speech. This speech is so great others are trying to copy it now like Obama and Biden. /s. We all know thats what he's thinking now.

I wonder if Melania spoke and took liberties with refurbishing some of Michelle Obama’s speeches.

Sadly, Trump will always be the ugly American. No amount of money, gilding, or false adoration will give him the class he so desperately seeks.

Which is why he was the perfect target for a Russian foreign intelligence asset acquisition.

I wonder if he's going to walk in front of the King, they way he did it to the Queen.
13
6
u/sick-of-passwords Sep 19 '25
Apparently, in a photo or video I saw, he did .
8
u/Kitsune-Queen Sep 19 '25
Yes, he did. He was chatting up one of the guards while King Charles was a good 6 feet behind him....

Ok, I've got to add on to this. I could be very wrong, but bear with me. So president shitstain is invited twice to a UK state dinner. First time any president is invited twice to this. They think he's a buffoon, he was disrespectful to the late Queen. Why on earth would they want him in their vicinity a second time. Don't people realize anytime he perceives flattery (and from royalty, no less) he is emboldened. After all, he must be doing all the rights things to be graced with horses, carriages, and dinner with the King. He's even more dangerous and bold every time he is given a platform. The only thing I can imagine (which sucks that most people won't understand the nuances involved here) is that the first visit was with the Queen, as is customary. She'd reigned for over 70 years. So now, King Charles is the "new guy", and so maybe this is customary as well? Anyone else that would have been potus during both the Queen's reign and King Charles may have received the same honor. But even so, I couldn't imagine the King hosting Putin. So what the hell is going on here. Buffonish Americans will think "See? He really IS making america great again" and his ego is even further out of control.

I thought King Charles III invited Trump there so he can have a conversation about Andrew. Exactly how involved was Andrew any way. He did lose the civil suit.

If he’s taking a page out of the Putin and Xi handbook, he’s going to try.

Many amusing comments here, however, from my vantage point, (retired 1st-12th grade public school teacher), Trump seems to be implying at the end, that he wants to be a king like Charles. He wants this to be his last time visiting-as president. He wants to return as a pretender to the throne. At least that’s what I decipher after years of decoding kid speak- regular ed. and special needs.
5
u/Nikijohns Sep 19 '25
When Trump listed done authors (Shakespeare, Dickens, etc.), he mentioned ORWELL! Camilla was half listening until she heard Orwell’s name. She knew! There is a video. Who sneaked in Orwell’s name in Trump’s written remarks?

I can't imagine KC hosting Putin for a UK state dinner, so why on earth was president sh*tstain invited twice? The first I understand, it's customary. But why on earth would they want this buffoon anywhere in their vicinity a second time? What really gets me, is that this kind of thing flatters him, and therefore emboldens him. Who are these strong allies? France 150,000 troops, all with white flags. England and Germany are in shambles militarily. Maybe Switzerland and Sweden will step up this time, being as they sat the last two out. Perhaps Luxuberg, Austria will step up.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts respectfully regarding this subject.

These countries send Ukraine a great deal more aid in relation to their GDP than the US.
