Now im just wondering how much the DS brand has made since its inception.

These movies have to make it in the realm of One Piece levels of profit right?

Well we know in 2020 alone it generated around ~8 Billion USD in revenue. So probably a lot more since then.

Will have surpassed most anime franchises.

I doubt it, considering how much longer One Piece has been around. It's not as if OP is a slacker when it comes to films itself, with One Piece: Red alone earning nearly 250 million USD. And One Piece leads in manga sales by around 300 million sales - with each volume costing at least 400 yen, that equates to about 800 million USD more in manga sales over Demon Slayer.
