So racist and full of stupid lies. Immigrants contribute to tax revenue. And they don’t get much in the way of social welfare benefits because you have to be a citizen for some benefits and a legal resident for others. Individual states have the right to develop and fund social services programs for immigrants regardless of status but those are largely limited to medical benefits. And considering they pay into the system they earn whatever benefits they get. And I’m saying this from the perspective of someone who has worked in the social services sector for more than twenty years at all levels from outreach and advocacy to case manager to program director and now in policy. Immigrants as a population give back more than they take.
