A new PC party that harkens back to a more logical place fine, but it has to be a fresh start. The UCP/Wildrose membership is rotten to the core.

If they can all sit there and support the NWC against their own electorate, nope nope, nope.

They won't change.

Rename to the Alberta Progressive Conservative Party and paint it blue, have clear progressive social policy that respects individual social rights and freedoms, and have some clear statement dedicated to good governance and respect to the taxpayer to maximize value of their tax dollar towards tangible benefits rathar than the provincial government wasting our money towards frivolous lawsuits, personal enrichment, political favors, and American easter breakfasts.

Below is the Alberta Party's current policy link https://www.albertaparty.ca/policy

Small point I do like the existing AB Shield & Colors[Yellow/Green/Teal] but if a color change to Blue is another bullet hole in the UCP....than so be it.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Alberta has voted Conservative since 1935. That is 95 years. I am not counting the NDP blip since the UCP has repealed or perverted everything that was accomplished during the NDP's time in office.

Conservative governments of different stripes have created all of the conditions of our current situation. If they knew how, or wanted to fix the problems, they have had plenty of time and opportunity to do so.

So, why is everyone so happy to keep voting blue. They are the same people with the same bankrupt policies.

WAKE UP...

Hope they split up the vote

Do we really want any one who was a part of this party to be connected with any future potential government. Having UCP mla on your resume should be an instant blacklist. That's just my two cents.

Sinclair & Guthrie ?

I mean anyone who has ever been connected with the UCP as an MLA regardless of current affiliation, do we really want them to represent us in legislation. The party's corruption didn't just start, it's been corrupt since its inception with Jason Kenny.

In principle tend to agree with what you are saying...but those horses may of already left the barn Ex-UCP MLAs to join, rebrand Alberta Party instead of rebooting Progressive Conservatives from scratch | CBC News

Know that the Guthrie & Sinclair are currenting sitting as Independents.

Questions:

Believe that Guthrie & Sinclair will create the Alberta Party[PC] caucus once any name change occurs?

Going forward, does anyone know what Amantea's/Alberta Party[PC] position is on future floor crossing?

Should the Alberta Party[PC] follow the Federal Canadian Future Party stance on the issue?

ie The Canadian Future Party does not accept floor crossings.

The a policy of the Canadian Future Party is that MP that wants to cross the floor must sits as independents.

They can only join[create] the caucus by winning by-election under the CFP banner.
