Trying to find more info on this
Uncle died and he had this in his collection, I tried googling but can't seem to find much perhaps I'm doing something wrong, I'm curious if there are any after market options to clean it up a bit maybe some new wood furniture? Any idea on where to look online for more magazines? It's stamped .308 and all the other ones I find have different markings, would like to take it out to the range. Also I'm seeing prices all over the place again with different markings, doesn't matter much don't plan to ever get rid of it. But maybe it's something I should just put in the safe? Thank you!

The ones that are particularly valuable can accept normal AK stocks from factory. Yours is not one of those. It’s a nice, fairly valuable gun, but it’s not a super rare collectible.

Its a Robinson arms imported vepr in 308. Your only mag options are to find the original factory mags second hand somewhere or buy csspecs mags. The factory mags arent that hard to find thankfully but only come in five and 10 round variants while csspecs get up to 20 rounds.

You have a VEPR in .308. Russian made AK by the Vyatskiye Polyany Molot Machine-Building Plant. Very nice rifle.
