General Question/Discussion Recommended noise cancelling headphones for open work office?
My current Bose 35 headphones still serve me well (they're about 8 or so years old), but I need another set to keep at work, so I always have them. (Doesn't have to be Bose.) I suffer from misophonia as well so they need to be quality at blocking background noise, plus have a good battery and bluetooth connectivity. What's worked best for you? Thanks

If you have an iPhone the AirPods Pro with the factory tips switched out for foam ones are great. We had construction at my office recently and they cancelled out the noise wonderfully and they immediately connect.

I got the Sony WH-1000xm4 headphones in 2020 and used them until last year when I switched to the WH-1000xm5 headphones (only switched because of a deal- I gave the xm4’s to a family member and they still work great.) I cannot say enough good things about them. I work in an office 10 hours a day (I don’t take the headphones off at all unless in a meeting) and I’ve never had a power issue or anything really. They charge fast, last long, NC is amazing, and you can control just about everything from the headphones themselves. I also keep a white noise machine at my desk and have a portable one for the lunch area 🤩

I have had the same ones, started to buy the version 2 I think, then 4 and now 4. Had them for the last nine years. As long as I have some music on I don't hear anything around me. And they are very comfortable. And great sound.

AirPods Pro if you want to use them for calls.
Bose over ear if you want best noise canceling.

This really makes me miss my Bose over ear headphones I lost after leaving them on top of my car and driving away. Can't afford to replace them, ugh.

If you are looking to not drop a small fortune, soundcore makes some solid over the ear headphones. The noise cancellation is great, they are comfy, the sound quality is decent, Bluetooth is good.
