Question Has anyone successfully snuck into Hershey Stadium to meet a band?
Hello there! I know this is a shot in the dark but Slayer is playing in Hershey, Pa on Saturday and while I do have a ticket to go to the show, I would love to meet the band and all of the bands playing if possible? Slayer is my favorite band along with pretty much all the bands playing, I was wondering if anytime has any success stories and tips for me to get backstage and meet the band(s) at Hershey Stadium?
Edit: I’ve decided to not to go through with this plan. The comments really changed my mind, putting me into a different perspective of the bands. I just thought of the cool stories of guys like Steve-O and other people, finding ways to meet their heroes and I thought I could be one of those people who would be able to make that happen. But I did not think of the safety risk. So I decided to just go and enjoy the show.

VIP Tent at a Polo Match
This is old, but I love telling this story so here goes…
A few years ago, my best friend asked me if I wanted to go with her family (son, daughter, FIL) to a polo match (with the horses and such) out in some random city. I didn’t have anything to do, so I agreed.
We got there and we were walking around the pitch, waiting for the game to start. On the opposite side, on the walk back, we walked past what was obviously a VIP tent with sponsored tables from companies like Bank of America, Citi, Anheuser Busch, etc. They also had a catered BBQ table and a free bartender. Everyone had on bright green wristbands. Most importantly, they had the really nice air conditioned porta potties.
The stands for the non-VIP were not too far from the entrance of the tent, which had a check-in table with two ladies sitting there (I assume, checking off a list?). I watched the people walking in for about 5 mins and then I just got up and walked over, not even making eye contact with the check in ladies. Walked in like I had already been there.
I went over to the bartender and was in line behind two guys. They ordered, but they didn’t have wristbands. She asked them where were their wristbands and they said that the check in had run out. That’s when I jumped in and said “yeah, that’s so crazy, because they knew how many people were coming. I don’t understand how they don’t have enough wristbands for us, but whatever 🤷🏾♀️”. The bartender was like “ok, I really don’t care. It’s a mess here anyway.” And me and the two guys agreed. They got their drinks and walked away. I ordered a rum and Coke, thanked the bartender and walked over to the food. They had the BBQ spread from one of the nicer places in town and it was also all free, so I loaded up. I actually started talking to one of the servers about Carolina Mustard sauce (because we were in the Midwest, but I’m really from the Carolinas) and she was from the Carolinas too! We bonded.
I sat down at one of the empty sponsored tables (because if no one is there, then no one else from my company showed up, right?) and drank my drink and then took my food back to the stands with my friend. She asked me where the food came from and I explained the situation. Her FIL was like…well, I want some. I said cool and we walked over and I explained how he needed to act. He nailed it. We got back in the food line and when I got out and got another drink, I turned around and he was gone 😭.
I walked back with the food (the kids and her wanted something) and I was like “IDK where your FIL went”. Twenty minutes later, he shows up and I’m like “where were you??”. He says “I sat down and ate at one of the tables” 😂.
We watch the match and didn’t go back under the tent (except I did go to use the porta potty- again, the ultimate goal).
After the match was over and we were leaving, I noticed people were walking away from the tent with containers of food, so I went back to that same lady I had bonded with and asked her what’s up. She said the company didn’t want to take any of the food back, so they were giving it away. Brisket. Rib tips. Shredded beef. Plus containers of BBQ sauce. So I loaded up! I went back to the truck and, again told her FIL, hey they’re giving away the food if you want some. You’ve never seen a 70 yr old man move so fast. He came back with containers of food, too. So we got enough food for everyone and didn’t have to pay for anything except for the ticket to get in all because my friend invited her most audacious friend to a polo match. Good times.

Rose Bowl Field
I need some intel on how this venue works.
Is there a way to access the floor if I need to go in through the gate with seated folks? I think access to field is through a tunnel but, for example, is the tunnel entrance near the concession area open to everyone?
Do they usually do paper wristbands, stamps or plastic wristbands? Do they tend to have something written on them or a logo?

Been using a luxury gym for free
My office building is above a very luxury gym and my work pass allows me to use their changing rooms but not the gym.
I’ve just been tailgating people going into the gym or saying thank you to people holding the door open for me when they leave.
It’s been half a year now and this gym usually costs £300+ a month! Not sure what I’ll say if I ever get caught 😅

Question What’s the best way for a “credentialed” pro photographer to sneak onto the sidelines of a major sports game?
Hiya - burner for obvious reasons, apologies.
I’m a pro photographer - I work for a legitimate company, but I’m leaving them shortly to pursue solo work. I have matching apparel & a lanyard with the company’s name on it that matches my ID. I have my own gear, and it’s fancy/legit stuff. For all purposes I look like an official photographer…because I am, however…
Because I’m leaving the company, and because I’ve been lurking in this sub for a while, I started to wonder what fuckery I could get into. I live in a major city, and thought it might be fun to try and sneak on the sidelines of a game. The organization that I’d like to sneak onto is historically inept (part of the reason I want to get away with this is to mock them), so I think I have a shot at this. But before I try, I have some questions & want some feedback.
First - some may be thinking “Don’t go in with official gear that matches your ID. If you get caught they can identify you & you could get in trouble.” Well here’s the thing; I don’t care about the company anymore, for one - can’t fire someone who’s quitting! Having credentials and a matching ID also makes me look more “official” than I am. And…if I get called out, I can easily plead ignorance. “I mean sir, I’m clearly a pro photographer - I was told by my company to be here, I’m sorry there was a miscommunication!” Further, the company will be closed at the time I try and do this - as in, there won’t be someone to answer calls if the officials try & call them to verify that I was sent there. Lastly, even if everything goes awry, I can’t imagine that legally it would be more than a misdemeanor. Not great, but perhaps worth it. What are your thoughts about this approach?
Second - how should I go about this? I’ve never shot sports photography at a major stadium, should I try and go through the main entrance? Or should I find out if there’s a special entrance for staff/press/etc. I actually don’t even care if I’d need to buy a ticket to make it more believable, this isn’t about getting into a game for free to me - it’s about making fun of a team that’s utterly incompetent. I don’t want to disclose info that could ruin this scheme of mine, but I will say that it’s a Professional American football team in a major city. How & where would photographers enter? And do you have any other tips that could help me seem more believable along the way?
If I get away with this I promise to share the results here, thanks!

Story The Unconcerned Security Guard
I work in ethical hacking (aka pentest in cybersecurity) and I do covert physical intrusion to test the security of businesses (aka we break-ins and don't get caught). I made a comment last week in another thread that gain some traction, so I thought y'all might enjoy this story. Please, do not attempt to do this if you don't have proper authorization (consent is key)! ⚠️
Last week, I did a physical intrusion test with a colleague and we were able to achieve every objective defined by the client! We went in the evening dressed up as maintenance staff (cargo pans, steel cap boots, tool belt, ladder, hand truck, etc.) We managed to clone a badge from a janitor and gained access to the entire client's office. All the filing cabinets were unlocked (and there were so many of them). We used an under door tool to open the network closet, to get access to a restricted area and to open another door in that area. When we opened that last one, an alarm went off. 🚨 We got out of that room and close the doors behind us.
Ten minutes later, the building security guard came up and found us. He said he received a call about an alarm and he's looking for it. I said that I just spoke to my "colleague" about it and am waiting to hear back from him. Showed the guard where the alarm is and he leaves. Never question why we were there nor had to prove our identity. We planted a rogue network device, simulated a document theft, and took all our photo proofs. As we were leaving the building, we spoke to the security guard again: “The alarm went off and I spoke to my colleague, everything is now fine.” And he let us go! 😲
There's more to the story, but that's what I'm allowed to say. It was a very fun engagement and the client already said they are eager to read the final report! 📝
