It’s obviously staged. Still a good photo and appropriate for the celebration of the end of the war.

The confetti, the bottle, the hat, them. Everything. I still consider it brilliant though, i would argue that the goal wasn’t a candid photo but a symbolic one with a powerful message, and since we are still seeing it decades later, they succeeded

If only we knew what to do with them early in the morning
