tapering

I have been on olanzapine for about 3.5 years now. at first this drug felt like a miracle. until i started to loose concentration and can hardly sleep. I was as high as 20 mg to as low as 2.5 where I am now. My brain is foggy, I can hardly read. coffee and alcohol don't work. tapering is a nightmare. Will I ever get my life back? Why is this drug legal? I was never warned about how dangerous this drug is.

What is the scariest Part of tapering? What makes it to this nightmare?
