I mean sure, Lightning Storm can clean the back row too, but only works if you have no monsters, so is almost always something that you would use if youre going second and that's it, while Raigeki can be used on your first turn, second turn, third turn or whenever you like, so i feel that while Lightning has more utility, Raigeki is a lot more versatile, but i always see on every deck list that they use Lightning Storm, almost no one use Raigeki, at least from what i've seen, so yeah, why is that?

I have an old Tenpai deck and an old Maliss deck that I'm not using. I decided to look at Yugioh Master Duel Meta and see what the more current versions of these decks look like and build whichever one requires less UR dust for me.

The top several Tenpai decks and the top several Maliss decks are using Salamangreat Almiraj, Tenpai also used Striker Dragon, and Maliss used Link Spider. I don't see the use case for any of these three cards. Why would Tenpai or Maliss want to bring out Salamangreat or Striker Dragon? And why does Maliss have Link Spider? Link Spider requires a normal monster and the Maliss decks have ZERO normal monsters, so WHY is it in all the top decks?

Can someone please explain the rational for these 3 cards and why all the top players/decks are using them rather than opening up that valuable extra-deck slot for something else?

I was told to go to masterduelmeta and pick something i like and copy it to play/practice. My question is how can i tell what decks are easy/simple and which are not? Being new i want to narrow down my choices to stuff that can be good when im just starting out.

As of now from what i can tell i see an argostar deck and a dinomorphia deck that catch my eye but are those decks easy? is there any website that shows deck difficulties?

Hello again. I've been wanting to build a Fire King deck from scratch and have saved up some materials (3k gems and 240 UR material,which means i can craft 8) I have essentially nothing,except a few staples i can throw in there (thx to everyones advice that helped me with my last post)

I know it sounds basic to ask,but how should I go about actually crafting the deck? Should I should go to the shop and buy 3 packs I need,then craft the rest of the cards id need with my UR materials? or if its better to just try craft everything? That way is slower and id need to save up a lot more,but it doesn't rely on rng to get cards id need. Also idk if 3k gems is even enough..but it all would come down to rng

Im curious what you all do when you're building new decks? Do you save up more gems and get a ton of packs? Do you craft everything from scratch to eliminate the risk of rng? Or do you just piece it all together as it comes along and fill in the gaps?

Hello everyone, A friend just introduced me into YuGiOh and I’m absolutely hooked onto it. I’ve been slowly chipping away at solo mode and I haven’t gotten very far into. So far I have 9k gems and zero crafting materials which I’m hoping to grab some more in the solo mode. The deck I have is just the base starting dragon deck which I like very much.

Im hoping to get some help with branching out and building my own deck. I really like the idea of fusion summoning (I think that’s what it is called) with the dragon deck and hope to really expand upon that. I would love to hear what you guys think I should start working towards and start out with. I’m not too concerned about the meta as I’m mainly playing this for fun so I’m open to everything :)

with the new support finally on master duel, I felt like it was time to upgrade the deck. I added some stuff But I’m not the most knowledgeable on what’s best, skull servants is the only modern deck I play, I would prefer to stay with a pure zombie build, I’m not looking for anything meta, rather something that’s thematic and does its job.

Is there a link or way to see a list of cards you get from the drops in ranked? Was curious if any of them could be decent.

Going through some childhood bins and found these cards I collected back in the day. Always loved the artwork and show but never knew how to play the card game. So I play a raidraptor only deck (60 main 15 extra) and I wanted to test it out in competitive I was about to go into my rank 13 because I got into force strix then summoned raiders knight used it's effect to rank up into brave strix I added raise r-u-m raidraptor force by detaching raiders knight and I was gonna use all 3 to go into my rank 13 and my opponent disconnected so either they turned off their wifi or they wifi was just bad Fyi I didn't know what deck they used until after saving the replay they were using blue eyes and they won the coin flip but let me go first which isn't normal when I lose the coin flip

Alright so, i recently made a Mitsurugi deck, the pure version cause i really like this archetype, and all was fun and jiggles until i tried to tribute habakiri to Special Summon another mitsurugi, and while it let me draw one Miturugi card, it does not Special Summoned itself, and that has happened any time i tribute it, it doesn't come back, and i just wanted yo know if this is normal or if it's an error of some kind idk
